Continuing with the sacrifices offered on Yom HaKippurim, which is noted in the book of Numbers
Numbers 29:7-11
Num 29:7 And on the tenth of this seventh renewed month shall be a Sacred (Holy) Calling (Convocation) to you, and you shall afflict (humble) את-your souls. You shall not do any work: 8 and you shall bring near an Elevation Offering (Ascension Offering, Burnt Offering) to יהוה, a pleasant scent; one bullock of a son of a herd, one ram, seven sheep, sons of a year; perfect ones they shall be to you: 9 And their Donation Offerings (Tribute Offerings, Food Offerings, Grain Offerings, Apportion Offerings) of flour overflowed (mixed) in the oil, three tenths for the bullock, two tenths for the one ram, 10 a tenth, a tenth, for the one sheep, for the seven sheep: 11 one goat of the kids of a Sin Offering; from by apart the Sin Offering of the Atonements, and the Continual Elevation Offering [(Continual Ascension Offering, Continual Burnt Offering)], and her Donation Offering (Tribute Offering, Food Offering, Grain Offering, Apportion Offering), and their Drink Offerings (Libation Offerings).
These were the sacrificial requirements at the time for Yom HaKippurim from Numbers chapter twenty nine in simpler format

2/10 ephah of flour mixed in oil
THE FIRE OFFERING: THE DAILY CONTINUAL ELEVATION (ASCENSION, BURNT) OFFERING
*Without The Donation Offering (Grain Offering, Food Offering)
Practically, it is close to a double Fire Offering. The Daily Fire Offering in this case did not include the Food Offering. Maybe it is יהוה's Mercy on them, because it is the Shabbath, and there was already a Food (Grain) Offering. I'm guessing the other Drink Offering is the same requirement as the one for the Daily Fire Offering.
יהוה also wants us to sacrifice our desire to work on the seventh day by resting on the Shabbath and to have fellowship with Him.
Another event that occurred during Yom HaKippurim is the Jubilee, which is noted in the book of Leviticus
Leviticus 25:10-55
Lev 25:10 And you shall sanctify the year, את the fifty year, and you shall call out (proclaim) liberty in the land to all of her dwellers: she, she shall be a Jubilee for yourselves; and you shall return a man to his seizing (holding, property), and you shall return a man to his family. 11 The Jubilee, she shall be the fifty year [(the fifty year, she shall be)], a year she shall be to yourselves: You shall not seed (sow), and you shall not harvest (reap) את-her aftergrowth, and you shall not clip off את-her unkept vines (undressed vines, set apart vines). 12 For she is the Jubilee; she shall be Sacred (Holy) to yourselves: you shall eat את-her produce from the field. 13 In the year of this Jubilee, you shall return a man to his seizing (holding, property). 14 And when you sell a selling (merchandise) to your comrade (associate), or purchase (buy) from the hand of your comrade (associate), you shall not maltreat (enrage, oppress, suppress) a man את-his brother: 15 On the enrollment (scroll, number) of years after the Jubilee, you shall purchase (buy) from את your comrade (associate), shall sell to you on the enrollment (scroll, number) of the years of production: 16 You shall multiply his price (purchase) by the mouth by the multiple of the years, and you shall diminish his price (purchase) by the mouth of the fewness of the years: he is selling to you for the enrollment (scroll, number) of production. 17 And you shall not maltreat (enrage, oppress, suppress) a comrade (associate); and you shall revere (give awe, fear) from your Elohim: for I am יהוה, your Elohim. 18 And you shall do את-My Statutes, and you shall observe (keep, guard, heed) את-My Judgments, and you shall do them; and you shall dwell upon the land for security (safety, refuge). 19 And the land shall give her fruit, and you shall eat to satisfaction, and you shall dwell upon her for security (safety, refuge).
20 And when you shall say, What shall we eat in the seventh year? Behold, we shall not seed (sow), and we shall not gather את-our produce: 21 And I shall command My Blessing to you on the sixth year, and shall do (make) the produce for the three years. 22 And you shall seed (sow) את the eighth year, and you shall eat from the old produce unto the ninth year; you shall eat the old unto the coming of her produce, 23 and you shall not sell the land for extinction (destruction, perpetuity): for the land belongs to Me; for you are sojourners (strangers) and dwellers (tenants) with Me. 24 And in all of the land of your seizure (holding, property), you shall give a redemption for the land.
25 When your brother shall be poor (thin), and has sold his seizure (holding, property), and his redeemer that is near (nearkin) to him shall come, and shall redeem את from the sold thing of his brother. 26 And when a man shall not be to him a redeemer, and his hand can afford (attain, reach), and finds according to [(as)] enough of his redemption; 27 And shall compute (evaluate) את-the years from his sale, and shall return את-the surplus (overplus) which was sold to him to the man; and shall return to his seizure (holding, property). 28 And if his hand has not found enough of the returning to him, and shall be from his sold thing in the hands of the one purchased (bought) him unto the year of the Jubilee, and shall go out on the Jubilee and shall return to his seizure (holding, property).
29 And when a man shall sell a house of dwelling at a walled city, and she shall be his redemption until the completion of the year from his sale; she shall be the days of his redemption. 30 And if shall not be redeemed to himself unto the fullness of a complete year, and the house which is in the city which has a wall to him for extinction (destruction, perpetuity) shall be arisen (shall remain) to his purchaser (buyer) for his generations: shall not go out in the Jubilee. 31 And the houses of the villages which has not a wall all around to them shall be computed (evaluated) upon the fields of the land, she shall be redeemable to him: and shall go out in the Jubilee.
32 And the cities of the Levites of the houses of the cities of their seizure (holding, property), she shall be a Redemption of Ages to the Levites. 33 And of the which shall redeem from the Levites, and shall go out from the sale of the house and a city of their seizing (holding, property) in the Jubilee: for the houses of the cities of the Levites, she is their seizure (holding, property) among (in) the midst of the Sons of Israel. 34 And a field from a grazing area (pasture area) of their cities shall not be sold; for he is to them of a Seizing (Holdship, Property) of Ages.
35 And when your brother shall be poor (thin), and has wavered (slid, slipped, shook off) his hand with you; and you shall take sieze (take hold) on him of a sojourner (stranger) and a dweller (tenant); and shall be the living [(and shall live)] with you, 36 you shall not take from him of interest (usary) and multiplication: you shall revere (give awe, fear) with your Elohim; and your brother shall live with you. 37 And you shall not give to him את-your silver on interest (usary), and you shall not give your food on multiplication. 38 I am יהוה, your Elohim, which I have brought you out from the land of Egypt to give to you את-the land of Canaan, to be to you for Elohim.
39 And when your brother with you shall be poor (thin), and was sold to you; you shall not make serve on him the service of a servant: 40 Shall be with you as a hired one, as a dweller (tenant), shall serve until the year of the Jubilee: 41 And he shall go out from with you, he and his sons with him, and shall return to his family, and shall return to the seizing (holding, property) of his fathers. 42 For they are My Servants which I have brought them out from the land of Egypt: they shall not be sold with a sale of a servant. 43 You shall not descend (tread down, rule) on him in cruelty (severeness, rigor, harshness); and you shall revere (give awe, fear) from your Elohim. 44 And your male servant and your female servant of which they shall belong to you, from את the nations which are all around you; you shall purchase (buy) from them for a male servant and a female servant. 45 And also from the sons of the dwellers (tenants) that are sojourning with you, you may purchase (buy) from them, and from their families which are with you which they have birthed in your land: and they shall be to you for seizing (holding, property). 46 And you shall inherit them for (to) your sons after you for the Succession (Occupation) of Seizing (Holdship, Property) for Ages: on them, you shall enserve (enslave): and on your brothers of the Sons of Israel, a man among his brother, you shall not descend (tread down, rule) on him in cruelty (severeness, rigor, harshness).
47 And when you can afford (attain, reach) a hand of a sojourner (stranger) and a dweller (tenant) with you, and your brother is poor (thin) with him, and shall be sold to a sojourner (stranger) of a dweller (tenant) with you, or to a transplanted one (plucked up one, uprooted one, naturalized one) from a family of a sojourner (stranger): 48 After has been sold, she shall be a redemption to him; one from his brothers, shall redeem him: 49 or his uncle, or a son of his uncle shall redeem him, or from a relative of his flesh from his family shall redeem him; or can afford (attain, reach) of his hand, and shall redeem. 50 And shall compute (evaluate) with his purchaser (buyer) from the year of his being sold to him unto the year of the Jubilee: and and from his sale shall be of silver on the enrollment (scroll, number) of years, shall be with him as the days of a hireling. 51 If shall be still multiple on the years, by their mouths shall return his redemption with the silver from his purchase. 52 And if few shall be left on the years until the year of the Jubilee, and shall compute (evaluate) to him according to [(as)] the mouth of his years, shall return את-his redemption. 53 Shall be with him as a hired one year among year: shall not descend (tread down, rule) him in cruelty (severeness, rigor, harshness) to your eyes. 54 And if shall not redeem on these, and shall go out in the year of the Jubilee, he and his sons with him, 55 for the Sons of Israel are servants to Me; They are My servants of which I brought them out from the land of Egypt: I am יהוה, your Elohim.
It is probable that Yeshua was born in a Jubilee year.

The Year of Jubilee
This is a precursor account of the fall feasts, which is noted in the book of Genesis
Genesis 24:1-28
Gen 24:1 And Abraham was old, going in the days: and יהוה had blessed את-Abraham in allness. 2 And Abraham said to his servant, the elder of his house, that ruled in all which belonged to him, Put now your hand under my testicles: 3 And I will have you swear in יהוה, Elohim of the Heavens and Elohim of the Earth which you will not take a woman (wife) to my son from the daughters of the Canaanites which I dwell in his nearness: 4 For you will go to my land, and to my birthing (kindred), and you will take a woman (wife) for my son, for Isaac. 5 And the servant said to him, Perhaps the woman, she will not be willing to go after me to this land: returning [(that returning?)], I shall return את-your son to the land which you came out from there? 6 And Abraham said to him, Guard (Watch, Observe, Take heed) for yourself lest you return את-my son there. 7 יהוה, Elohim of the Heavens, which took me from the house of my father, and from the land of my birth (kindred), and the which spoke to me, and the which swore to me, to say, I will give את-this land to your seed; He shall send His Messenger to your face, and you shall take a woman (wife) for my son from there. 8 And the woman, if she shall not be willing to go after you, and you shall be innocent (clear, guiltless) from this my oath: only do you not return את-my son there. 9 And the servant put את-his hand under the testacles of Abraham, his lord, and swore to him upon this word.
10 And the servant took ten camels from the camels of his lord, and left; and all of the goods of his lord) were in his hand: and arose, and went to Aram Naharaim, to the city of Nahor. 11 And the camels knelt down from outside by the city to a bore-well of the water, by the time of the mixing period (evening), by the time of the going out of the drawing. 12 And said, יהוה, Elohim of my lord (master), Abraham, befall (happen) now to my face today (the day), and do kindness with my lord (master), Abraham. 13 Behold, I am standing upon the eye-well of the water; and the daughters of the men of the city are coming out to draw water: 14 And shall be the young woman of which I shall say to her, Let down (extend) now your pitcher, and I may imbibe (drink) her; and say of her, Imbibe (Drink), and also I will make quaff (make drink) your camels: her, you have designed (convinced, decided, purposed, functioned?) for your servant, for Isaac; and in her shall I know for you have done kindness with my lord (master).
15 And was, before finishing to speak, and behold, Rebekah came out, which was birthed to Bethuel, son of Milcah, woman (wife) of Nahor, brother of Abraham, and her pitcher was upon her shoulder. 16 And the young woman was much good of form (appearance), a virgin, and a man had not known her: and she descended (went down) to the eye-well, and she filled her pitcher, and she ascended. 17 And the servant ran to meet (encounter) her, and said, I shall swallow (drink) now a little water from your pitcher. 18 And she said, Imbibe (Drink), my lord (master): and she hurried (hastened), and she descended (let down) her pitcher upon her hand, and she had him quaff (drink). 19 And she finished to have him quaff (drink), and she said, I will draw for your camels also until if they have finished to imbibe (drink). 20 And she hurried (hastened), and she emptied her pitcher to the trough, and she ran still to the bore-well to draw, and she drew for all of his camels. 21 And the man was with wonder (astonishment) to her with scratching (silence, engraving) to know that יהוה had prospered his journey, if not.
22 And was, as the which the camels, they had finished to imbibe (drink), and the man took a golden nose ring (earring) of a half shekel (broken shekel) of his weight (scale), and two bracelets (arm clasps) upon her hands, of ten gold of their weight (scale); 23 And said, The daughter of who are you? Tell (Declare) to me now: that exists the house of your father a place for us to lodge (stay)? 24 And she said to him, I am the daughter of Bethuel, son of Milcah, which was birthed to Nahor. 25 And she said to him, Also straw also fodder are plentiful (multiple) with us, also a place to lodge (stay). 26 And the man bowed, and worshipped to יהוה.
27 And said, Blessed be יהוה, Elohim of my lord (master), Abraham, which has not forsaken His Kindness and His Truth from with my lord (master): I being in the way, יהוה led (guided) me at the house of the brother of my lord (master). 28 And the young woman, she ran, and she told (declared) to the house of her mother according to these words [(as these words)].
Verse eleven through nineteen is symbolic of Yom HaKippurim, for Abraham's servant, popularly accepted to be Eliezer, afflicted his soul and selflessly prayed to יהוה to find a wife for his master, Isaac, on behalf of his master, Abraham, and Rebekah selflessly afflicted her soul to take extra time to water Eliezer, his men, and the ten camels as well as providing them a place to lodge.
This section of the account connects to the next scripture source in which the Prophet Isaiah talked to the Israelites on Yom HaKippurim, which is noted in his book
Isaiah 58:1-14
Isa 58:1 Cry aloud, spare not, lift up thy voice like a shofar, and shew My People their transgression, and the House of Jacob their sins. 2 Yet they seek Me daily, and delight to know My Ways, as a nation that did righteousness, and forsook not the ordinance of their Elohim: they ask of Me the Ordinances of Righteousness; they take delight in approaching to Elohim. 3 Wherefore have we fasted, say they, and Thou seest not? Wherefore have we afflicted our soul, and Thou takest no knowledge? Behold, in the day of your fast ye find pleasure, and exact all your labours. 4 Behold, ye fast for strife and debate, and to smite with the fist of wickedness: ye shall not fast as ye do this day, to make your voice to be heard on high. 5 Is it such a Fast that I have chosen? A day for a man to afflict his soul? Is it to bow down his head as a bulrush, and to spread sackcloth and ashes under him? Wilt thou call this a fast, and an Acceptable Day to יהוה ?
6 Is not this the Fast that I have chosen? To loose the bands of wickedness, to undo the heavy burdens, and to let the oppressed go free, and that ye break every yoke? 7 Is it not to deal thy bread to the hungry, and that thou bring the poor that are cast out to thy house? When thou seest the naked, that thou cover him; and that thou hide not thyself from thine own flesh? 8 Then shall thy light break forth as the morning, and thine health shall spring forth speedily: and thy righteousness shall go before thee; the Glory of יהוה shall be thy Rereward. 9 Then shalt thou call, and יהוה shall answer; thou shalt cry, and he shall say, Here I am. If thou take away from the midst of thee the yoke, the putting forth of the finger, and speaking vanity; 10 And if thou draw out thy soul to the hungry, and satisfy the afflicted soul; then shall thy light rise in obscurity, and thy darkness be as the noonday: 11 And יהוה shall guide thee continually, and satisfy thy soul in drought, and make fat thy bones: and thou shalt be like a watered garden, and like a spring of water, whose waters fail not. 12 And they that shall be of thee shall build the old waste places: thou shalt raise up the foundations of many generations; and thou shalt be called, The Repairer of the Breach, The Restorer of Paths to Dwell In. 13 If thou turn away thy foot from the Shabbath, from doing thy pleasure on My Sacred (Holy) Day; and call the Shabbath a delight, the Sacred (Holy) of יהוה, honourable; and shalt honour Him, not doing thine own ways, nor finding thine own pleasure, nor speaking thine own words: 14 Then shalt thou delight thyself in יהוה; and I will cause thee to ride upon the high places of the earth, and feed thee with the heritage of Jacob, thy father: for the Mouth of יהוה hath spoken it.
Isaiah was stating that the Israelites were fasting with means to exult themselves and go back to do the same things they have been doing by their own means. Isaiah uses the example of afflicting their souls by giving to the poor. Rebekah also would fit what Isaiah told the Israelites what they could do to afflict their souls.
These next scripture do not say if they were referring to Yom HaKippurim, but it shows relevance. Looking at this account, which is noted in the book of the prophet Joel
Joel 1:14-20; 2:1-32
Joel 1:14 Sanctify ye a fast, call a solemn assembly, gather the Elders and all the inhabitants of the land into the House of יהוה, your Elohim, and cry unto יהוה,
15 Alas for the day! For the Day of יהוה is at hand, and as a destruction from the Almighty shall it come. 16 Is not the meat cut off before our eyes, yea, joy and gladness from the house of our Elohim? 17 The seed is rotten under their clods, the garners are laid desolate, the barns are broken down; for the corn is withered. 18 How do the beasts groan! The herds of cattle are perplexed, because they have no pasture; yea, the flocks of sheep are made desolate. 19 יהוה, to thee will I cry: for the fire hath devoured the pastures of the wilderness, and the flame hath burned all the trees of the field. 20 The beasts of the field cry also unto thee: for the rivers of waters are dried up, and the fire hath devoured the pastures of the wilderness.
Joel 2:1 Blow ye the shofar in Zion, and sound an alarm in My Holy Mountain: let all the inhabitants of the land tremble: for the Day of יהוה cometh, for it is nigh at hand; 2 A day of darkness and of gloominess, a day of clouds and of thick darkness, as the morning spread upon the mountains: a great People and a strong; there hath not been ever the like, neither shall be any more after it, even to the years of many generations. 3 A fire devoureth before them; and behind them a flame burneth: the land is as the Garden of Eden before them, and behind them a desolate wilderness; yea, and nothing shall escape them. 4 The appearance of them is as the appearance of horses; and as horsemen, so shall they run. 5 Like the noise of chariots on the tops of mountains shall they leap, like the noise of a flame of fire that devoureth the stubble, as a strong people set in battle array. 6 Before their face the People shall be much pained: all faces shall gather blackness. 7 They shall run like mighty men; they shall climb the wall like men of war; and they shall march every one on his ways, and they shall not break their ranks: 8 Neither shall one thrust another; they shall walk every one in his path: and when they fall upon the sword, they shall not be wounded. 9 They shall run to and fro in the city; they shall run upon the wall, they shall climb up upon the houses; they shall enter in at the windows like a thief. 10 The earth shall quake before them; the heavens shall tremble: the sun and the moon shall be dark, and the stars shall withdraw their shining: 11 And יהוה shall utter His Voice before His Army: for His Camp is very great: for He is strong that executeth His Word: for the Day of יהוה is great and very terrible; and who can abide it? 12 Therefore also now, saith יהוה, turn ye even to Me with all your heart, and with fasting, and with weeping, and with mourning: 13 And rend your heart, and not your garments, and turn unto יהוה, your Elohim: for He is gracious and merciful, slow to anger, and of great kindness, and repenteth him of the evil. 14 Who knoweth if he will return and repent, and leave a blessing behind him; even a Food (Grain) Offering and a Drink Offering unto יהוה, your Elohim? 15 Blow the shofar in Zion, sanctify a fast, call a Solemn Assembly: 16 Gather the People, sanctify the Congregation, assemble the Elders, gather the children, and those that suck the breasts: let the bridegroom go forth of his chamber, and the bride out of her closet. 17 Let the Priests, the ministers of Elohim, weep between the porch and the Altar, and let them say, Spare Thy People, יהוה, and give not thine heritage to reproach, that the heathen should rule over them: wherefore should they say among the people, Where is their Elohim? 18 Then will hwhy be jealous for His Land, and pity His People. 19 Yea, hwhy will answer and say unto His People, Behold, I will send you את-grain, and wine, and oil, and ye shall be satisfied therewith: and I will no more make you a reproach among the heathen: 20 But I will remove far off from you את-the hidden (northern) army, and will drive him into a land barren and desolate, with את-His Face toward the east sea, and His Hinder Part toward the utmost sea, and His Stink shall come up, and His Ill Savour shall come up, because He hath done great things. 21 Fear not, O land; be glad and rejoice: for יהוה will do great things. 22 Be not afraid, ye beasts of the field: for the pastures of the wilderness do spring, for the tree beareth her fruit, the fig tree and the vine do yield their strength. 23 Be glad then, ye Sons of Zion, and rejoice in יהוה, your Elohim: for He hath given you את-the early rain moderately, and he will cause to come down for you the rain, the early rain, and the latter rain in the first month. 24 And the floors shall be full of wheat, and the fats shall overflow with wine and oil. 25 And I will restore to you את-the years that the locust hath eaten, the cankerworm, and the caterpiller, and the palmerworm, my great army which I sent among you. 26 And ye shall eat in plenty, and be satisfied, and praise את-the Name of יהוה, your Elohim, that hath dealt wondrously with you: and My People shall never be ashamed. 27 And ye shall know that I am in the midst of Israel, and that I am יהוה, your Elohim, and none else: and My People shall never be ashamed. 28 And it shall come to pass afterward, that I will pour out My Spirit upon all flesh; and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, your old men shall dream dreams, your young men shall see visions: 29 And also upon the servants and upon the handmaids in those days will I pour out My Spirit. 30 And I will shew wonders in the heavens and in the earth, blood, and fire, and pillars of smoke. 31 The sun shall be turned into darkness, and the moon into blood, before the great and the Terrible Day of יהוה come. 32 And it shall come to pass, that whosoever shall call on the Name of יהוה shall be delivered: for in Mount Zion and in Jerusalem shall be deliverance, as יהוה hath said, and in the remnant whom יהוהshall call.
Yeshua talked to his disciples regarding fasting and praying, which is noted in the Gospel of Matthew
Matthew 17:14-21
Mat 17:14 And when they were come to the multitude, there came to Him a certain man, kneeling down to Him, and saying, 15 Lord, have mercy on my son: for he is lunatick, and sore vexed: for ofttimes he falleth into the fire, and oft into the water. 16 And I brought him to thy disciples, and they could not cure him. 17 Then Yeshua answered and said, O faithless and perverse generation, how long shall I be with you? how long shall I suffer you? Bring him hither to Me. 18 And Yeshua rebuked the devil; and he departed out of him: and the child was cured from that very hour. 19 Then came the disciples to Yeshua apart, and said, Why could not we cast him out? 20 And Yeshua said unto them, Because of your unbelief: for verily I say unto you, If ye have faith as a grain of mustard seed, ye shall say unto this mountain, Remove hence to yonder place; and it shall remove; and nothing shall be impossible unto you. 21 Howbeit this kind goeth not out but by prayer and fasting.
Yeshua ties fasting and praying through faith or belief. This is what Yom Kippur does.
This is a section of the Parable of the Ten Virgins, which is noted in the Gospel of Matthew
Matthew 25:1-9
Mat 25:1 Then shall the Kingdom of Heaven be likened unto ten virgins, which took their lamps, and went forth to meet the bridegroom. 2 And five of them were wise, and five were foolish. 3 They that were foolish took their lamps, and took no oil with them: 4 But the wise took oil in their vessels with their lamps. 5 While the bridegroom tarried, they all slumbered and slept. 6 And at midnight there was a cry made, Behold, the bridegroom cometh; go ye out to meet him. 7 Then all those virgins arose, and trimmed their lamps. 8 And the foolish said unto the wise, Give us of your oil; for our lamps are gone out. 9 But the wise answered, saying, Not so; lest there be not enough for us and you: but go ye rather to them that sell, and buy for yourselves.
Verse seven is the verse that is symbolic of Yom HaKippurim. The trimming of the wicks are an symbolic act to afflict ones soul and rid of their burnt part of the wick, or their symbolic "sins and pride" in their lives. You can find this in my teaching "The Parable of the Ten Virgins" by clicking on the link below to get to the webpage.
THE PARABLE OF THE TEN VIRGINS
Ever since Yeshua became our current Eternal High Priest, He has been continuing to atone for our sins every year on the tenth day of the seventh month in the Kingdom of Heaven. Lastly as John the Immerser and Yeshua said, which is noted in the Gospel of Matthew
Matthew 3:1-2
Mat 3:1 In those days came John the Immerser, preaching in the wilderness of Judaea, 2 And saying, Repent ye: for the Kingdom of Heaven is at hand.
Matthew 4:17
Mat 4:17 From that time Yeshua began to preach, and to say, Repent: for the Kingdom of Heaven is at hand.
REPENT, FOR THE KINGDOM IS AT HAND!
A PERSONAL STORY
This was the last of the High Holy Days I came to observe. This is my personal story how I started to observe this High Holy Day. One day while I was working, thoughout the time of my shift at work, I felt a burning/sizzlingish feeling on the top of my head. It wasn't hurting me, but it was impacting, not to affect my perfomance at work. After I came home, within a short time later, I told my wife what happened throughout my shift. After a little while being home, a thought came to me to check the calendar, which I had a Jewish Calendar. I looked at the day I worked, and discovered that the day I worked fell on Yom HaKippurim. I then realized that the Ruakh HaKodesh (the Holy Spirit) was telling me that this is a day to be observed. I also realized that Yeshua was my head, which is noted by the apostle Paul in his letter to the assembly at Corinth
1 Corinthians 11:3 But I would have you know, that the Head of every man is Messiah; and the head of the woman is the man; and the head of Messiah is יהוה.
Yeshua was also heaping "coals" on my head, which is based on the apostle Paul's letter to the assembly in Rome
Romans 12:20 Therefore if thine enemy hunger, feed him; if he thirst, give him drink: for in so doing thou shalt heap coals of fire on his head.
Though, I am not Yeshua's enemy, He still put some "fiery coals" on my head, telling me, "My son, you to need to observe this High Holy Day too", and from the following year and evry year after, I have been observing Yom HaKippurim. Thank you Abba, Father.
FINAL NOTES
The apostle Paul explained the High Priest's role including a briefing of the annual Yom HaKippurim role of the High Priest, which is noted in the book of Hebrews
Hebrews 9:3-28
Heb 9:3 And after the Second Veil, the Tabernacle which is called the Holiest of all; 4 Which had the Golden Censer, and the Ark of The Covenant overlaid round about with gold, wherein was the Golden Pot that had manna, and Aaron's rod that budded, and the Tablets of the Covenant; 5 And over it the Cherubims of Glory shadowing the Mercy Seat; of which we cannot now speak particularly. 6 Now when these things were thus ordained, the Priests went always into the First Tabernacle, accomplishing the Service of יהוה.
7 But into the second went the High Priest alone once every year, not without blood, which he offered for himself, and for the errors of the People: 8 The Holy Spirit this signifying, that the way into the Holiest of All was not yet made manifest, while as the First Tabernacle was yet standing: 9 Which was a figure for the time then present, in which were offered both Gifts and Sacrifices, that could not make him that did the service perfect, as pertaining to the conscience; 10 Which stood only in meats and drinks, and divers washings, and carnal ordinances, imposed on them until the time of reformation. 11 But Messiah being come an High Priest of good things to come, by a greater and more perfect Tabernacle, not made with hands, that is to say, not of this Building; 12 Neither by the blood of goats and calves, but by His Own Blood he entered in once into the Holy Place, having obtained eternal redemption for us. 13 For if the blood of bulls and of goats, and the ashes of an heifer sprinkling the unclean, sanctifieth to the purifying of the flesh: 14 How much more shall the blood of Messiah, who through the Eternal Spirit offered Himself without spot to hwhy, purge your conscience from dead works to serve the Living יהוה ?
15 And for this cause He is the Mediator of the New Covenant, that by means of death, for the redemption of the transgressions that were under the First Covenant, they which are called might receive the Promise of Eternal Inheritance. 16 For where a Covenant is, there must also of necessity be the death of the Testator. 17 For a covenant is of force after men are dead: otherwise it is of no strength at all while the Testator liveth. 18 Whereupon neither the First Covenant was dedicated without blood. 19 For when Moses had spoken every precept to all of the People according to the Torah, he took the blood of calves and of goats, with water, and scarlet wool, and hyssop, and sprinkled both the Scroll, and all of the People, 20 Saying, This is the blood of the Covenant which hwhy hath enjoined unto you. 21 Moreover he sprinkled with blood both the Tabernacle, and all the Vessels of the Ministry. 22 And almost all things are by the Torah purged with blood; and without shedding of blood is no remission. 23 It was therefore necessary that the patterns of things in the heavens should be purified with these; but the heavenly things themselves with better sacrifices than these. 24 For Messiah is not entered into the Holy Places made with hands, which are the figures of the true; but into Heaven itself, now to appear in the Presence of יהוה for us: 25 Nor yet that He should offer Himself often, as the High Priest entereth into the Holy Place every year with blood of others; 26 For then must He often have suffered since the foundation of the world: but now once in the end of the world hath He appeared to put away sin by the sacrifice of Himself. 27 And as it is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the Judgment: 28 So Messiah was once offered to bear the sins of many; and unto them that look for Him shall he appear the second time without sin unto salvation.
Every year on Yom HaKippurim, as mentioned in the book of Numbers mentioned above, the High Priest has to bring blood to the Holy of Holies to atone for Himself and all of the Israelite People every year. Whereas, Yeshua, the current High Priest, made an atonement with His blood at the Heavenly Temple for the world once and for all, for those who want to accept it, not just for the moment, but forever.
According to Mark Biltz of El Shaddai Ministries, this account supposedly takes place on Yom HaKippurim, which is noted by the apostle John, in the book of Revelation
Revelation 19:11-16
Rev 19:11 And I saw heaven opened, and behold a white horse; and He that sat upon Him was called Faithful and True, and in Righteousness He doth judge and make war. 12 His Eyes were as a flame of fire, and on His Head were many crowns; and He had a Name written, that no man knew, but He, Himself. 13 And He was clothed with a Vesture dipped in Blood: and His Name is called The Word of Elohim. 14 And the armies which were in heaven followed Him upon white horses, clothed in fine linen, white and clean. 15 And out of His Mouth goeth a Sharp Sword, that with It He should smite the nations: and He shall rule them with a Rod of Iron: and He treadeth the Winepress of the Fierceness and Wrath of Almighty Elohim. 16 And He hath on His Vesture and on His Thigh a Name written, KING OF KINGS, AND LORD OF LORDS.
Mark also noted that the book of Jonah is read during Yom HaKippurim.
Thank you, Mark.
The apostle Paul noted atonement in his letter to the assembly in Rome
Romans 5:8-11
Rom 5:8 But יהוה commendeth His Love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Messiah died for us. 9 Much more then, being now justified by His Blood, we shall be saved from wrath through Him. 10 For if, when we were enemies, we were reconciled to hwhy by the death of His Son, much more, being reconciled, we shall be saved by His Life. 11 And not only so, but we also joy in hwhy through our Lord Yeshua, the Messiah, by whom we have now received the atonement.
We are atoned through the blood of Yeshua, our Messiah, our Eternal High Priest, forever. This is His way of saying to us, "Don't worry, I got you covered".
