CHAPTER 19
Numbers 19:1-22

Num 19:1 And YHWH spoke to Moses and to Aaron, to say, 2 This is the Statute of the Torah (Teaching) which YHWH commanded, to say: Speak to the Sons of Israel, and they shall take to you a perfect red heifer, which has not a blemish in her, which a yoke has not been elevated (ascended) upon her. 3 And you shall give her to Eleazar, the Priest, and bring her out to from outside by the Camp, and shall slaughter her to His Face. 4 And Eleazar, the Priest, shall take from her blood on his finger, and spurt (besprinkle, sprinkle) of her blood to the front [(her blood opposite)] of the face of the Tent of Appointment seven times. 5 And shall burn up ta-the heifer to His Eyes; ta-her skin, and ta-her flesh, and ta-her blood, upon her dung, shall be burned up. 6 And the Priest shall take cedar tree (wood), and hyssop, and the crimson (red) worm [(worm of the crimson (red))], and shall cast (send, throw) to the midst of the burning up of the heifer. 7 And the Priest shall wash his Garments and shall bathe his flesh in the water, and afterward shall come to the Camp, and the Priest shall be unclean until the mixing period (evening).

8 And the one burning her up shall wash his Garments in the water, and shall bathe his flesh in the water and shall be unclean until the mixing period (evening).

9 And a clean man shall gather ta the ashes of the heifer, and shall make rest (deposit) in a clean place from outside by the Camp, and she shall be for the Congregation of the Sons of Israel to be observed (kept, guarded, watched) [(for observing (keeping, guarding, watching))] for the Water of Impurity. She is a Sin Offering (Purge Offering). 10 And the one gathering ta ashes of the heifer shall wash ta-his Garments and shall be unclean until the mixing period (evening). And she shall be to the Sons of Israel and to the sojourner (stranger) that is sojourning in their midst for a Statute of Ages.

11 The one touching on the dead to any soul of (to) an Adam, and shall be unclean seven days. 12 He shall purify on himself on the third day, and shall be clean on the seventh day: and if shall not purify on the third day and on the seventh day, shall not be clean. 13 Anyone that touches on the dead on a soul of the Adam which shall die, and shall not purify, shall make unclean [(shall defile)] ta-the Tabernacle of hwhy; and that soul, she shall be cut off from Israel: for the Water of Impurity was not strewed (sprinkled) upon him, shall still be unclean; his uncleanness is on him.

14 This is the Torah (Teaching) when an Adam shall die in a tent: anyone that comes to the tent, and all which are in the tent, shall be unclean seven days. 15 And every open vessel, which has no lid (bracelet, fastening) of thread upon him, he shall be unclean. 16 And anyone which shall touch upon (over) the face of the field, on a pierced one (slain one) of a sword, or on a dead one, or on a bone of an Adam, or on a grave, shall be unclean seven days. 17 And they shall take for the unclean one from the ashes of the burning up of the Sin Offering (Purge Offering), and shall give Living Water upon him to a vessel: 18 And a clean man shall take hyssop, and shall dip in the water, and shall spurt (besprinkle, sprinkle) upon (over) the tent, and upon (over) all of the vessels, and upon (over) the souls which they were there, and upon (over) the one touching on the bone, or on a slain one, or on the dead, or on the grave: 19 And the clean one shall spurt (besprinkle, sprinkle) upon (over) the unclean one on the third day, and on the seventh day: and shall cleanse (purify) him on the seventh day, and shall wash his Garments, and shall bathe in the water, and shall be clean on the mixing period (evening). 20 And a man which shall be unclean, and she shall not be purified (cleansed), and that soul, she shall be cut off from the midst of the Assembly, for ta-the Sanctuary of YHWH was made unclean (defiled), the Water of Impurity was not strewed (sprinkled) upon (over) him; he shall be unclean. 21 And she shall be to them for a Statute of Ages, and from the strewer (sprinkler) of the Water of Impurity shall wash his Garments; and the one touching on the Water of the Impurity shall be unclean until the mixing period (evening). 22 And anyone which shall touch on him the unclean one shall be unclean; and the soul that touches, she shall be unclean until the mixing period (evening).

(NOTE: Not all verses will have comments)

Verses one through ten

1 And hwhy spoke to Moses and to Aaron, to say, 2 This is the Statute of the Torah (Teaching) which hwhy commanded, to say: Speak to the Sons of Israel, and they shall take to you a perfect red heifer, which has not a blemish in her, which a yoke has not been elevated (ascended) upon her.

There were three different people involved in this process:

1: Eleazar, son of Aaron, who was second in command of the Priesthood
2: One Levite Priest that burned the heifer, in Eleazar's presence
3: One Levite Priest, who was clean, who took the ashes outside the Camp

The other two are most likely Priests, because only Priests can do the sacrificial activities.

Looking at the following items:

THE RED HEIFER

Ephraim Judah of Lion and Lamb Ministries noted that Yeshua's body was perfect, like the Red Heifer was, and Yeshua was the "perfect" candidate to be the One to be sacrificed for all of the People.

In 2014, an email from The Temple Institute stated that a red heifer was born in the United States and would be a candidate for the future Temple cleansing sacrifice. There is no doubt that another Temple will be built in Jerusalem, but we also know there is currently the Holy Temple in the Kingdom of Heaven, which is noted by the apostle Paul,in the book of Hebrews

Hebrews 9:11 But Messiah being come an High Priest of good things to come, by a greater and more perfect Tabernacle, not made with hands, that is to say, not of this building; 12 Neither by the blood of goats and calves, but by His own Blood He entered in once into the Holy Place, having obtained eternal redemption for us.

How did the Red Heifer relate to Yeshua? Yeshua died on Passover, so how would the Red Heifer account be symbolically applied to Him?

This is my best notion, and I don't know if anyone thought of this analogy in relation to this account. The event of Yeshua being crucified contained "harmonic overtones" of sacrifices. In musical instrumental terms, harmonic overtones are other harmonic note sounds, not actually played, occurring the same time above one note that is actually played. A great example of this is a typical church bell. When the bell is struck, one can hear another pitch above the natural note of the bell. One of my music faculty members at the time called the bell's overtone a "chip tone", which in music technicality, in what he noted, is a high pitch fourth ordinal of the musical eight note octave. This "Harmonic Overtones Theory" analogy is not new in the scriputres. For example, hwhy met Abraham and Sarah with the two other men on Sukkoth (Feast of Tabernacles). But also in this same Abrahamic account, one of the food items that Abraham gave them was "unleavened bread". Also hwhy and the men made "haste" to go to Sodom and Gomorrah, and made Lot and his family leave Sodom and Gomorrah in "haste", which are types of the Passover- the "harmonic overtones" of this Sukkoth account.

In relation of Yeshua to this week's Torah portion regarding the Red Heifer, Yeshua's Body was marred, beaten, pierced and scarred, crowned with thorns, and was ripped by the cat of nine tails so much, that His whole Body was covered outwardly in "red blood", like the appearance of the Red Heifer. As far as I know, it doesn't say in the Scriptures that Yeshua's Appearance was beyond recognition, but He was well covered with His Red Blood.

Mark Biltz of El Shaddai Ministries noted that a red heifer is a rare animal, and compares it to Yeshua, who was a Rare Human. He also stated that the red heifer became unclean to make the Israelites clean through the Water of Impurity, wheras Yeshua became unclean for us, so that He would make us clean by His Red Blood. Thank you, Mark.

Both Monte Judah of Lion and Lamb Ministries and Mark Biltz noted that the red heifer was killed outside of the Camp and compared that to Yeshua being killed outside of the city of Jerusalem. Thank you, Monte and Mark.

Mark also noted that the killing of the red heifer was to be "to the face" of the Tabernacle facing hwhy's Face. When Yeshua was being crucified, He was facing the Entrance to the Temple of the Face of His Heavenly Father. The sun also darkened, but according to Mark, Yeshua was as that point hanging on the cross looking at His Heavenly Father, when He cried out "Eli! Eli! Lama Sabakhtani?".

There were three items that were thrown in with the Red Heifer to be burned: A cedar tree, hyssop and scarlet.

THE CEDAR TREE

It is a strong and tall tree. Lebanon is well known for their cedar trees. They were used mainly for building material.

Looking at the word CEDER

The Hebrew word for ceder is "eh-rehz"- Aleph, Resh, Zayin (zra) It comes from Strong's Concordance number 231, and its definition

From H729; a cedar tree (from the tenacity of its roots): - cedar (tree).

from 729 "ah-rahz" (zra), and its definition

A primitive root; to be firm; used only in the passive participle as a denominative from H730; of cedar: - made of cedar.

This is possibly where we get our English word "resin". This tree can give out resin, like the Myrrh and Frankincense trees, and it is used for incense, and most likely for herbal properties, like other tree resins.  There is an issue whether the tree Yeshua was crucified on was a cedar tree or an olive tree, but it is most likely it could have been a cedar tree, because it grows vertically and it is tall, whereas an olive tree does not and it is not as tall.

If it is the cedar tree, we can apply that Yeshua fulfilled this account, which is noted in the Torah portion of Ki Theytsey, the book of Deuteronomy:

Deuteronomy 21:22 And if shall be against a man a sin of judgment (ordinance) of death, and will die [(shall be put to death)], and you shall hang him upon a tree: 23 You shall not have stay (leave) his carcass (flabby carcass) upon the tree, for burying, you shall bury in that day; for is a despisement (accursed) of Elohim of a hanging; and you shall not defile (make unclean) ta-your ground which hwhy, your Elohim, is giving to you of an inheritance.

Yeshua was mentioned by the Priests to Pilate that he was worthy of death, because He bore our sins as well as our iniquities. He fulfilled the scriptures by being hanged on a tree which could have been a cedar tree.

hwhy talked to David about cedars used for building, which is noted in the book of the Chronicles

1 Chronicles 17:1 Now it came to pass, as David sat in his house, that David said to Nathan, the prophet, Lo, I dwell in an house of cedars, but the Ark of the Covenant of hwhy remaineth under curtains. 2 Then Nathan said unto David, Do all that is in thine heart; for Elohim is with thee. 3 And it came to pass the same night, that the Word of Elohim came to Nathan, saying, 4 Go and tell David My servant, Thus saith hwhy, Thou shalt not build Me an House to dwell in: 5 For I have not dwelt in an house since the day that I brought up ta-Israel unto this day; but have gone from tent to tent, and from one Tabernacle to another. 6 Wheresoever I have walked with all Israel, spake I a Word to ta-any of the Judges of Israel, whom I commanded to feed ta-My People, saying, Why have ye not built Me an House of cedars?

The cedars were used for David's house, while hwhy still had no building for Him to rest.

Also, one could say that Yeshua as the Living Cedar Tree, through His crucifixion, used it as a "building block" to build His House of Israel.

SCARLET THREAD

The scarlet is commonly known to be scarlet thread. What does the symbol of it represent? One answer would be it represents sin. This is the scripture that supports this notion, which is noted in the book of the prophet Isaiah

Isaiah 1:18 Come now, and let us reason together, saith hwhy: though your sins be as scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; though they be red like crimson, they shall be as wool.

Another answer would be that it connects to lineage. Rahab at Jericho placed the scarlet thread on the window, which was part of the fortress wall, as a mark to her location when the Israelites came to conquer Jericho. She was an ancestor to King David and Yeshua. It was a similar but not related connection when Tamar, Judah's daughter-in-law, gave birth to Judah's twins, and used a scarlet thread to tie it to the firstborn, who happened to be Zerah. Zerah was noted in the lineage of Yeshua's, though Zerah wasn't an ancestor of Yeshua, as noted in the Gospel of Matthew

Matthew 1:3 And Judas begat Phares and Zara of Thamar; and Phares begat Esrom; and Esrom begat Aram;

Why was Zerah noted in Yeshua's lineage when he wasn't an ancestor to Him? I don't have an answer to it at this time.

During the days that the Temple stood in Jerusalem during Yeshua's, it has been customary during Yom Kippur at the Temple when the Azazel (Scapegoat) will be sent to the wilderness and die there. As the Azazel (Scapegoat) goes out, a scarlet thread was tied somewhere at the Temple, to represent the sins of the People. When the Azazel (Scapegoat) dies, the crimson scarlet turns to white, meaning that the sins of the People have been forgiven. It has been documented in Rabbinical sources, after Yeshua resurrected and ascended to Heaven, fulfilling Himself as the "One Time Sacrifice", that when the Azazel (Scapegoat) went out and died on Yom Kippur, the scarlet thread did not turn white. This continued every year on Yom Kippur, for forty years, until the destruction of the Temple. It is, because Yeshua is the only true, now Eternal High Priest, and as I noted before in previous Torah portions, Yeshua's Unseamed Garment was not rent by the Roman soldiers, which meant that the next High Priest was to wear Yeshua's Unseamed Garment, besed in the example below in chapter twenty, when Aaron's High Priest Garment was given to his son, Eleazar. Also, Yeshua is the only one that can now forgive the People of their sins and make their sins of scarlet white as snow, and not through earthly sacrifices. The Azazel (Scapegoat) was only a yearly and temporary sacrifice. Yeshua is the Eternal Sacrifice. Since Yeshua became the Eternal High Priest, the activities of the temporary High Priest on earth became illegitimate as well as null and void, and every sacrifice that was made, including the red heifer sacrifice as well as the Yom Kippur reharsals, was not accepted.

HYSSOP

Hyssop is common in the Middle East. It is currently growing on the Western Wall today. It is mainly an herb used for cleansing and purifying purposes. It is also symbolic to cleanse one from their sins. The most popular example of that was when after David went into Bathsheba and killing her husband Uriah the Hittite, which is noted by king David, in the book of the Psalms

Psalm 51:7 Purge me with hyssop, and I shall be clean: wash me, and I shall be whiter than snow.

The apostle Paul noted how Yeshua, being our High Priest today, became our sacrifice in fulfilling the Brith Khadashah (New Covenant), because He knew that the Temple would not exist to continue the sacrifices, including the sacrifice of the red heifer, which is noted by the apostle Paul, in the book of Hebrews

13 For if the blood of bulls and of goats, and the ashes of an heifer sprinkling the unclean, sanctifieth to the purifying of the flesh: 14 How much more shall the Blood of Messiah, who through the Eternal Spirit offered Himself without spot to hwhy, purge your conscience from dead works to serve the Living Elohim? 15 And for this cause He is the Mediator of the New Covenant, that by means of death, for the redemption of the transgressions that were under the First Covenant, they which are called might receive the promise of Eternal Inheritance. 16 For where a covenant is, there must also of necessity be the death of the Covenanter. 17 For a covenant is of force after men are dead: otherwise it is of no strength at all while the Covenanter liveth. 18 Whereupon neither the First Covenant was dedicated without blood. 19 For when Moshe had spoken every precept to all the People according to the Torah, he took the blood of calves and of goats, with water, and scarlet wool, and hyssop, and sprinkled both the book, and all the People, 20 Saying, This is the Blood of the Covenant which hwhy hath enjoined unto you. 21 Moreover he sprinkled with blood both the Tabernacle, and all the Vessels of the Ministry. 22 And almost all things are by the Torah purged with blood; and without shedding of blood is no remission. 23 It was therefore necessary that the patterns of things in Heaven should be purified with these; but the heavenly things themselves with better sacrifices than these. 24 For Messiah is not entered into the Holy Places made with hands, which are the figures of the true; but into Heaven itself, now to appear in the Presence of hwhy for us: 25 Nor yet that he should offer Himself often, as the High Priest entereth into the Holy Place every year with blood of others; 26 For then must he often have suffered since the foundation of the world: but now once in the end of the world hath he appeared to put away sin by the sacrifice of Himself. 27 And as it is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgment: 28 So Messiah was once offered to bear the sins of many; and unto them that look for Him shall he appear the second time without sin unto salvation.

We haven't have a Temple since its destruction around 70 AD, and Yeshua is our current High Priest at the Temple in the Kingdom of Heaven which makes the Temple still active. If He did not go up to the Heavenly Temple to offer His Blood for the one time sacrifice, The purpose of the Heavenly Temple would have been deactivated and discontinued. He would have nullified the Temple and nullified Himself as the Eternal High Priest, and His Blood for us for our salvation would have discontinued.

If Yeshua's Blood was not the only blood sacrifice sufficient for us, He might as well be offering other blood sacrifices and nullify His Blood.

Note: there has been no red heifer sacrifice as late as the the destruction of the second Temple, around 70 AD.

In summary, each of the four have symbolic significances:

The Perfect Red Heifer: Yeshua's perfect Body, without blemish, whose outward appearance after His Body was shredded was all covered in red blood
Cedar: Building of the Israelite nation/Taking of the cross
Scarlet thread: Sin/Lineage of Yeshua
Hyssop: Cleansing of the People

There is a mention that the grain threshing floor that David bought was at the Mount of Olives, which is noted in the book of the prophet Samuel

2 Samuel 24:18 And Gad came that day to David, and said unto him, Ascend, rear an altar unto hwhy in the threshingfloor of Araunah, the Jebusite. 19 And David, according to the saying of Gad, went up as hwhy commanded. 20 And Araunah looked, and saw ta-the king and ta-his servants coming on toward him: and Araunah went out, and bowed himself before the king on his face upon the ground. 21 And Araunah said, Wherefore is my lord the king come to his servant? And David said, To buy ta-the threshingfloor of thee, to build an altar unto hwhy, that the plague may be stayed from the People. 22 And Araunah said unto David, Let my lord the king take and offer up what seemeth good unto him: behold, here be oxen for the Elevation Offering, and threshing instruments and other instruments of the oxen for wood. 23 All these things did Araunah, as a king, give unto the king. And Araunah said unto the king, hwhy, thy Elohim, accept thee. 24 And the king said unto Araunah, Nay; but I will surely buy it of thee at a price: neither will I offer Elevation Offerings unto hwhy, my Elohim, of that which doth cost me nothing. So David bought ta-the threshingfloor and ta-the oxen for fifty shekels of silver. 25 And David built there an altar unto hwhy, and offered Elevation Offerings and Peace Offerings. So hwhy was intreated for the land, and the plague was stayed from Israel.

I am not sure that this is true, and I have yet to search it out. If this is so, it would make sense that red heifers would have been sacrificed here. It would make a perfect parallel connection with Yeshua being crucified at the Mount of Olives where the Sacrificial Altar would have been located during the First Temple period.

Verses eleven through thirteen

The next segment is a relevance to that above. A man that touches a dead man will be unclean seven days, but has to be purified on the third day and shall be clean on the eighth day. Simple.

We can put in perspective the accounts of those who had touched a dead corpse in the scriptures who were for the Torah, which is noted in the Gospel of John

John 19:38 And after this Joseph of Arimathaea, being a disciple of Yeshua, but secretly for fear of the Jews, besought Pilate that he might take away the Body of Yeshua: and Pilate gave him leave. He came therefore, and took the Body of Yeshua. 39 And there came also Nicodemus, which at the first came to Yeshua by night, and brought a mixture of myrrh and aloes, about an hundred pound weight. 40 Then took they the Body of Yeshua, and wound It in linen clothes with the spices, as the manner of the Jews is to bury.

Nicodemus and Joseph of Arimathea, a.k.a. "Nick and Joe", touched Yeshua's Body during Passover. But it was late during the day, and it was most likely, that they last touched His Body by the time about sundown, and became unclean for the seven days period starting at sundown, on the first day of the Feast of Unleavened Bread. This meant that the first day they were unclean was Wednesday night, the same day Yeshua started His three days in the tomb before His resurrection on First Fruits. This also meant that Nick and Joe would have gone through the Water of Impurity process on Shabbath during the third day, the same numbered day Yeshua was still in Joseph's tomb, and still were unclean until sundown, Wednesday night, the eighth day, which they would become clean.

Question: "Why did he have to be purified on the third day and not the seventh day"? According to maranathalife.com, the number three is symbolic of the Trinity of the Godhead (rightly called the Triune Elohim), and the number seven is symbolic of spiritual perfection. The third day connects to the soul purifying, as well as restoring, ones relationship with hwhy.

Another question: "Is there a process that occurs in one's body when one touches a dead person"? One example is based in the Gospel of Luke

Luke 8:43 And a woman having an issue of blood twelve years, which had spent all of her living upon physicians, neither could be healed of any, 44 came behind Him, and touched the border of His Garment: and immediately her issue of blood stanched. 45 And Yeshua said, Who touched Me? When all denied, Peter and they that were with Him said, Master, the multitude throng Thee and press Thee, and sayest Thou, Who touched Me? 46 And Yeshua said, Somebody hath touched Me: for I perceive that Virtue is gone out of Me.

We know that power went out of Yeshua after the woman touched Him. Does the same issue apply if someone touches a dead person, but the dead person, being the weaker vessel, is taking the spirit from a living soul? This is what is noted in the Torah portion of Akharey Moth, in the book of Leviticus

Leviticus 17:11 for a soul of the flesh, she is in the blood:...

When a person dies, their soul departs from the blood that is in the flesh. So when someone touches a dead body, one is touching one with "dead blood".

A redemptive answer to that is noted in the book of the Kings

2 Kings 13:20 And Elisha died, and they buried him. And the bands of the Moabites invaded the land at the coming in of the year. 21 And it came to pass, as they were burying a man, that, behold, they spied ta-a band of men; and they cast ta-the man into the sepulchre of Elisha: and when the man was let down, and touched the bones of Elisha, he revived, and stood up on his feet.

This account caused a dead man to be brought to life via Elisha's bones.

Verse fourteen

14 This is the Torah (Teaching) when an Adam shall die in a tent: anyone that comes to the tent, and all which are in the tent, shall be unclean seven days.

The unique thing about a dead person in the tent is that no one has to touch the dead person and will still be unclean, because the atmosphere inside the tent has trapped the dead elements of that corpse.

Verse fifteen

15 And every open vessel, which has no lid (bracelet, fastening) of thread upon him, he shall be unclean.

Regarding an open jar, If they left it uncovered, the dead molecules and the dead smell from a dead corpse would have gone into the vessel and contaminated whatever was in it, like passing germs via the air from one person to another.

Verse sixteen

16 And anyone which shall touch upon (over) the face of the field, on a pierced one (slain one) of a sword, or on a dead one, or on a bone of an Adam, or on a grave, shall be unclean seven days.

A reason that one is not to touch a bone is that bones contain marrow, and the marrow "creates" new blood. When a soul dies, the marrow stops creating new blood to continue to provide a dwelling place for one's soul. When one touches a bone, it comes in contact with a dead "creator factor" for the soul's residence.

Indirectly related, there is one account where bones gave a dead person to life, which is noted in the book of the Kings

2 Kings 13:20 And Elisha died, and they buried him. And the bands of the Moabites invaded the land at the coming in of the year. 21 And it came to pass, as they were burying a man, that, behold, they spied ta-the band of men; and they cast ta-the man into the sepulchre of Elisha: and when the man was let down, and touched the bones of Elisha, he revived, and stood up on his feet.

Though he was dead at the time, was he to go through a seven day unclean process when he revived from the dead? I'm not sure, but probably so.

In another indirect relation, an opposite account of this Torah passage is making dead bones come to life, which is noted in the book of the prophet Ezekiel

Ezekiel 37:1 The Hand of hwhy was upon me, and carried me out in the Spirit of hwhy, and set me down in the midst of the valley which was full of bones, 2 And caused me to pass by them round about: and, behold, there were very many in the open valley; and, lo, they were very dry. 3 And He said unto me, Son of man, can these bones live? And I answered, Adonai hwhy, Thou knowest. 4 Again He said unto me, Prophesy upon these bones, and say unto them, O ye dry bones, hear the Word of hwhy. 5 Thus saith Adonai hwhy unto these bones; Behold, I will cause breath to enter into you, and ye shall live: 6 And I will lay sinews upon you, and will bring up flesh upon you, and cover you with skin, and put breath in you, and ye shall live; and ye shall know that I am hwhy. 7 So I prophesied as I was commanded: and as I prophesied, there was a noise, and behold a shaking, and the bones came together, bone to his bone. 8 And when I beheld, lo, the sinews and the flesh came up upon them, and the skin covered them above: but there was no breath in them. 9 Then said He unto me, Prophesy unto the wind, prophesy, son of man, and say to the wind, Thus saith Adonai hwhy; Come from the four winds, O breath, and breathe upon these slain, that they may live. 10 So I prophesied as he commanded me, and the breath came into them, and they lived, and stood up upon their feet, an exceeding great army. 11 Then He said unto me, Son of man, these bones are the Whole House of Israel: behold, they say, Our bones are dried, and our hope is lost: we are cut off for our parts. 12 Therefore prophesy and say unto them, Thus saith Adonai hwhy; Behold, O My People, I will open ta-your graves, and cause you to come up out of your graves, and bring you into the land of Israel. 13 And ye shall know that I am hwhy, when I have opened ta-your graves, O My People, and brought you up out of your graves, 14 And shall put My Spirit in you, and ye shall live, and I shall place you in your own land: then shall ye know that I hwhy have spoken it, and performed it, saith hwhy.

The Islamic/Palestinian people in Israel know this verse, because they realize that the Messiah has to return to Jerusalem to go through the Golden Gate, located in the east, which is the double entrance to get to the Temple Mount. It is also known as the Eastern Gate. By the way. David Regan of Lamb and Lion Ministries, a Christian organization who supports Israel, has a four part episode series titled "The Mountains of Jerusalem". One episode focuses on the Temple Mount. There is a point in the episode where David Regan noted a Biblical Archaeologist, Dr. James Fleming, who was standing next to the Golden Gate, the double gate, in the year 1969. This is the location where Yeshua entered before the time Passover, before His crucifixion. Though it does not mention it, the account is noted in the Gospel of John

John 12:12 On the next day, much People that were come to the Feast, when they heard that Yeshua was coming to Jerusalem, 13 Took branches of palm trees, and went forth to meet Him, and cried, Hosanna: Blessed is the King of Israel that cometh in the Name of hwhy. 14 And Yeshua, when He had found a young ass, sat thereon; as it is written, 15 Fear not, daughter of Sion: behold, thy King cometh, sitting on an ass's colt. 16 These things understood not his disciples at the first: but when Yeshua was glorified, then remembered they that these things were written of Him, and that they had done these things unto Him. 17 The People therefore that was with Him when He called Lazarus out of his grave, and raised him from the dead, bare record. 18 For this cause the People also met Him, for that they heard that He had done this miracle. 19 The Pharisees therefore said among themselves, Perceive ye how ye prevail nothing? behold, the world is gone after Him.

This is also the location where the Islamic people have been burying their dead, because they are aware that the Messiah will return, and presumed He will go through the double gates again. They thought if they would bury their people in front of the gate area, He wouldn't be able to go in, because of this week's Torah portion passage.

Back to David Regan's series, at one point, Dr. James Fleming fell into a hole for a few feet, while standing next to the gate. At his landing, there were some human bones there, but there was an unusual appearance at the wall istelf while he was down there. He noticed that there were stones set in a double arched shape, and revealed that this part of the location could be the actual double entrance Golden Gate that existed during Yeshua's time.
