CHAPTER 26
Leviticus 26:3-46
Lev 26:3 If you walk in
My statutes, and you keep ta-My commandments, and you do
them; 4 And I
will give your rains in their season, and the land shall yield her
produce, and the trees of the field shall yield their fruit. 5 And
shall wax full to you the threshing of ta-the vintage, and the
vintage
shall wax full ta-the seeding time: and ye
shall eat your bread to
satisfaction,
and you will dwell securely in your land. 6 And I will give peace in
the land, and
you shall lie down, and not from terror: and I will rid evil
beasts from the land, and a sword, she shall not go over your land. 7
And ye shall chase ta-your enemies, and they shall
fall to your faces to
the
sword. 8 And they shall pursue from you five of a hundred, and a
hundred from you
shall pursue ten thousand: and shall fall your enemies to your faces to
the sword. 9 For I will face to you, and I will make you
fruitful, and I will multiply you, and I will establish ta-My covenant
with you. 10 And
you shall eat old store, and old from the face of the new. 11
And I will set my tabernacle in your midst: and my soul, she shall not
abhor
you. 12 And I will walk in your midst, and I will be to you for
Elohim, and you, you shall
be to me for a people. 13 I am hwhy your Elohim, whom I brought
you from
the land of Egypt, from being slaves to them; and I will break the bars
of your yoke, and I will cause you to walk erect.
14 And if
you will not hearken to Me, and you will not do taall these
commandments;
15 And if you despise My statutes, and if she, your soul, abhors ta-My
judgments, to fail doing ta-all My commandments, to your
breaking
ta-My covenant: 16 also I, I
will do this to you; And I will
appoint upon you terror, ta-consumption, and ta-the fever, with
consuming
the eyes, and with sorrowing the soul: and you shall seed for vanity
your seed, and your enemies shall eat him. 17 And I will
set my face against
you, and you shall be smitten to the face of your enemies: and they,
your haters, shall tread on you; and you shall flee and none pursues
you.
18 And
if unto these you will not hearken to Me, and I will add to
chastise you
seven times upon your sins.
19 And I will break ta-the pride of your might; and
I will put ta-your
heavens as the iron, and ta-your earth as the copper: 20
And and shall be spent your strength for vanity: and shall not
give your land
ta-her produce, and the trees of
the land shall not give their fruits.
21 And if you walk contrary with Me, and you are not willing to
hearken to Me; And I
will add upon you a striking seven times
according to your sins. 22
I will send against you ta-beasts of the field, and make
childless you,
and I will cut off ta-your animals, and make few of
you; and devastate
your roadways.
23 And if by these you are not chastised to Me, and you will walk
contrary with Me; 24 And I will walk, also I, contrary to you, and I
will
strike you, also I, seven times
upon your sins.
25 And I will bring upon you a sword, avenging The Vengeance Covenant:
and you will be gathered to your cities, and I
will send pestilence in your midst; and you will be given in the
hand of the enemy.
26 In My breaking of The Staff of Bread,
and ten women shall bake for your bread in one fire pot, and they shall
return
your bread by weight: and you shall eat, and you shall not be satisfied.
27 And if by this you will not hearken to Me, and you will
walk contrary with Me; 28 And I will walk with you in Fury
Contrary;
and I will chastise you, also I, seven times upon your sins. 29 And you
shall eat the flesh of your sons, and the flesh of your daughters you
shall eat. 30 And I will destroy ta-your high places, and I will
cut down
your sun pillars, and I will put ta-your carcases upon the
carcases of
your idols, and my
soul shall abhor you. 31 And I will give ta-your cities for desolation,
and I will make waste
ta-your sanctuaries, and I will
not smell your soothing fragrances. 32 And
I will make waste, I, ta-the land: and
shall be astonished upon her your enemies, the ones dwelling in her. 33
And you I
will scatter among the nations, and I will draw out a sword after
you: and she, your land, shall be a waste, and your cities shall be a
desolation. 34 Then she, the land, shall enjoy ta-her Shabbaths, all the
days of her wasting, and you in the land of your enemies; then
she, the land, shall rest, and enjoy ta-her Shabbaths. 35 All the
days of the wasting, she shall rest; tawhich was not rested in your
Shabbaths, in your dwelling upon her.
36 And the ones remaining among
you I will bring Faintness in their hearts in the
lands of their enemies; and chase them a sound of a shaken leaf; and
they shall flee, as one retreating a sword; and they shall fall and
none pursues. 37 And they shall stumble, a man on his brother, as with
the face of a sword, and a pursuer is not: and you shall not have for
you power to stand to the face of your enemies. 38 And you shall perish
among the nations, and shall consume you the
land of your enemies. 39 And the one remaining among you
shall pine away in their iniquity in the lands of your enemies; and
also in
the iniquities of their fathers, with them shall they pine away.
40 And
they shall confess ta-their iniquity, and ta-the iniquity of their
fathers,
among their transgressions which they transgressed against me, and also
that
they have walked contrary with me; 41 Also I, I will walk
contrary with them, and I will bring them into the land of their
enemies; if then shall humble their uncircumcised hearts, and then
shall they accept ta-their iniquity: 42 And I will
remember ta-My
covenant with Jacob, and also ta-My covenant with Isaac, and
also ta-My
covenant with Abraham I will remember; and the land I will remember. 43
And the land shall be forsaken from them, and she shall enjoy ta-her
Shabbaths, among the waste from them: and they shall accept ta-their
iniquity: because, and in because, among My judgments they despised,
and ta-My statutes their souls
abhorred. 44 And yet also this, in their
being in the land of their enemies, I will not reject
them, and I will not abhor them, to consume them, to
break My covenant with them: for I am hwhy their Elohim. 45 And I will
remember for them The Covenant of the Beginnings, whom I
brought them of the land of Egypt to the eyes of the nations,
to be for them for Elohim: I am hwhy. 46 These are the statutes
and the
judgments and the torahs, which has given hwhy between Him and
between the
sons of
Israel in Mount Sinai by the hand of Moses.

There are spiritual
applications to these punishments
TERROR: An act of fear
Regarding
terror, in the book of Jeremiah, Jeremiah made note of the southern
house
of Judah when not adhering to the words of hwhy., and
prophesied against Pashur for his acts against Jeremiah
Jeremiah 20:1 Now Pashur the
son of Immer the priest, who was also chief governor in the house
of hwhy, heard that Jeremiah
prophesied ta-these things. 2 Then Pashur
smote ta-Jeremiah the prophet, and put
him in the stocks that were in the high gate of Benjamin, which was by
the house of hwhy. 3 And it came to pass on
the morrow, that Pashur brought forth ta-Jeremiah out of the stocks.
Then said Jeremiah unto him, hwhy hath not called thy name
Pashur, but Magormissabib. 4 For thus saith hwhy,
Behold, I will make thee a terror to thyself, and to all thy friends:
and they shall fall by the sword of their enemies, and thine eyes shall
behold it: and I will give ta-all
Judah into the hand of the king of Babylon, and he shall carry them
captive into Babylon, and shall slay them with the sword. 5 Moreover I
will deliver ta-all the strength of this
city, and ta-all the labours thereof, and ta-all the precious things
thereof, and ta-all
the treasures of the kings of Judah will I give into the hand of their
enemies, which shall spoil them, and take them, and carry them to
Babylon. 6 And thou, Pashur, and all that dwell in thine house shall go
into captivity: and thou shalt come to Babylon, and there thou shalt
die, and shalt be buried there, thou, and all thy friends, to whom thou
hast prophesied lies.
In the Brith
Khadashah terror will come unto all people at the Judgment seat of
Messiah for what they have done on the earth 2 Corinthians 5:9 Wherefore
we labour, that, whether present or absent, we
may be accepted of him. 10 For we must all appear before the judgment
seat of Messiah; that every one may receive the things done in his
body,
according to that he hath done, whether it be good or bad. 11 Knowing
therefore the terror of hwhy, we persuade
men; but we are made manifest unto hwhy; and I trust also are made
manifest in your consciences.
Without fearing hwhy which is to
love hwhy, one would fear
man. This is what the scriptures say about fearing hwhy
Psalms 111:10a The fear
of hwhy is the beginning of wisdom
Proverbs 1:7a The
fear of hwhy is the beginning of knowledge
Proverbs 8:13a The
fear of hwhy is to hate evil
And in the Brith Khadashah it says regarding fear
1 John 4:18 There is no fear
in Love; but Perfect Love casteth out fear: because fear hath torment.
He that feareth is not made perfect in love.
Terror is a result of fear, and the Israelites did not fear hwhy and they walk
contrary to Him.
It also effects their strength as revealed from the prophet Ezekiel
Ezekiel 7:17 All hands
shall be feeble, and all knees shall be weak as water.
Overall, if one does not fear hwhy, one will be in
terror with men.
EMACIATION (Becoming
Thin/Starvation/Lack of Nutrition): Spiritual lack
of nutrition from The Word/Not doing The Will of hwhy.
A great example of the will of hwhy as nourishment
is in the Gospels
John 4:31 In the mean while
his disciples prayed him, saying, Master, eat. 32 But he said unto
them, I have food to eat that ye know not of. 33 Therefore said
the disciples one to another, Hath any man brought him ought to eat? 34
Yeshua saith unto them, My food is to
do the will of him that sent me, and to finish his work.
We, as
believers, also get our spiritual nourishment from hwhy by doing His
will.
hwhy's word is
spiritual food for us. An example of this is from the Prophet Jeremiah
Jeremiah 15:16 Thy words were
found, and I did eat them; and thy word was unto me the joy and
rejoicing of mine heart: for I am called by thy name, hwhy Elohim of hosts.
In the book of
Proverbs, a good word provides health
Proverbs 16:24 Pleasant words
are as an honeycomb, sweet to the soul, and health to the bones.
THE FEVER, WITH CONSUMING THE
EYES- A fever that cause blindness: evil
building up in one causing spiritual blindness.
This is an article from the Huffington Post titled "Mary Ingalls'
Blindness: Scarlett Fever Wasn't The Cause Of 'Little House' Sister's
Vision Loss", it says
"Any fan of Laura Ingalls Wilder's beloved "Little House"
books
knows how the author's sister Mary went blind: scarlet fever. But turns
out that probably wasn't the cause, medical experts say, upending one
of the more dramatic elements in the classic stories.
An analysis of historical documents, biographical records and
other
material suggests another disease that causes swelling in the brain and
upper spinal cord was the most likely culprit. It was known as "brain
fever" in the late 1800s, the setting for the mostly true stories about
Wilder's pioneer family".
Either way, it shows that a fever caused her blindness.
All the sins of the world would cause spiritual blindness
Yeshua confronted the Pharisees regarding their spiritual blindness,
because of their evils and their sins, after He healed a blind man
John 9:35 Yeshua heard that
they had cast him out; and when he had found him, he said unto him,
Dost thou believe on the Son of Elohim? 36 He answered and said,
Who is he, Lord, that I might believe on him? 37 And Yeshua said
unto him, Thou hast both seen Him, and it is He that talketh with thee.
38 And he said, Lord, I believe. And he worshipped him. 39 And
Yeshua said, For judgment I am come into this world, that they which
see not might see; and that they which see might be made blind. 40 And
some of the Pharisees which were with Him heard these words, and said
unto Him, Are we blind also? 41 Yeshua said unto them, If ye were
blind, ye should have no sin: but now ye say, We see; therefore your
sin remaineth.
The fever of their sins inflamed them and caused them to be blind, by
denying their sins by saying "We see".
THE FEVER, WITH SORROW OF THE SOUL: Inflaming fleshly
desires of the world that bring no satisfaction for the soul
This would include these things that the Apostle John wrote
1 John 2:16 For all that
is in the world, the lust of the flesh, and the lust of the eyes, and
the pride of life, is not of the Father, but is of the world.
The Apostle Paul in his letter to the congregation at Corinth, sent
Timothy to help them fix the problems occurring at the congregation.
Paul mentions later in the book his intention, through Timothy to go
through godly sorrow, in many ways, to counteract their pride based on
following men instead of following Yeshua from Paul's first book to them
2 Corinthians 7:1 Having
therefore these promises, dearly beloved, let us cleanse ourselves from
all filthiness of the flesh and spirit, perfecting holiness in the fear
of God. 2 Receive us; we have wronged no man, we have corrupted no
man, we have defrauded no man. 3 I speak not this to condemn you: for I
have said before, that ye are in our hearts to die and live with you. 4
Great is my boldness of speech toward you, great is my glorying of you:
I am filled with comfort, I am exceeding joyful in all our tribulation.
5 For, when we were come into Macedonia, our flesh had no rest,
but we were troubled on every side; without were fightings, within were
fears. 6 Nevertheless God, that comforteth those that are cast down,
comforted us by the coming of Titus; 7 And not by his coming only, but
by the consolation wherewith he was comforted in you, when he told us
your earnest desire, your mourning, your fervent mind toward me; so
that I rejoiced the more. 8 For though I
made you sorry with a letter, I do not repent, though I did repent: for
I perceive that the same epistle hath made you sorry, though it were
but for a season. 9 Now I rejoice,
not that ye were made sorry, but that ye
sorrowed to repentance: for ye were made sorry after a godly manner,
that ye might receive damage by us in nothing. 10 For godly
sorrow worketh repentance to salvation not to
be repented of: but the sorrow of the world worketh death.
11 For
behold this selfsame thing, that ye sorrowed after a
godly sort, what carefulness it wrought in you, yea, what clearing of
yourselves, yea, what indignation, yea, what fear, yea, what vehement
desire, yea, what zeal, yea, what revenge! In all things ye have
approved yourselves to be clear in this matter. 12 Wherefore,
though I wrote unto you, I did it not for his
cause that had done the wrong, nor for his cause that suffered wrong,
but that our care for you in the sight of God might appear unto you.
From the first book to the Corinthians, they were priding themselves in
following men instead of Yeshua, which in many cases would give their
souls no satisfaction in the end. So Paul makes them go through godly
sorrow to make them repent of their pride and humble themselves to
Yeshua to counteract their wrongdoing and focus on Yeshua instead of
men.
WORKING SEED FOR VANITY AND THE
ENEMIES EAT THEM: Laboring your gifts and callings for worldly purposes
and competitors take credit for your work/Foreigners receiving the work
that the country the job was founded should have received.
How many times have people taken credit for someone else's work? This
is the definition of "plagiarism".
In this Torah portion's case
There is a rare exception to the case, and unfortunately it is within
the realm of the brethren. Anyone heard about the Tetrad Blood Moons
phenomenon? Two people put out the information. One was John Hagee of
Cornerstone Ministries, the other is Mark Biltz of El Shaddai
Ministries. According to a World Net Daily artilce on March 23, 2015
titled "John Hagee's Ministry Responds To 'Four Blood Moons'
Allegations, John Hagee claimed to be the "discoverer" of the dates and
the blood moons account in connection to the Jewish calendars of
Passover and Sukkoth. World Net Daily stated that it was not Hagee who
discovered them, but Mark Biltz who discovered them in 2008, five years
before Hagee put out his book "Four Blood Moons" in 2013, and this
would be an act of plagiarism.
You can find the article at the World Net Daily web page
Another perspective of this are the major companies, who have job
availability potential for the people in the United States, but decide
to take their businesses overseas to foreign countries and offering
jobs at cheaper wages to foreigners.
SMITTEN TO THE FACE OF ENEMIES:
self humiliation and self destruction without the hand of the
unrighteous intervening
This would not be the result of the world doing this against anyone,
but hwhy would do it
personally against those who reject them. One example was a former
pastor who walked with Elohim, then later in life turned away from the
faith and became a pervert comedian. Since then, he did pervert things
in his life, but one day, he had a heart attack out of nowhere and died.
HATERS SHALL TREAD ON YOU:
demonic forces overcoming believers
Continuing with verses eighteen
through twenty
18 And
if unto these you will not hearken to Me, and I will add to
chastise you
seven times upon your sins.
19 And I will break ta-the pride of your might; and
I will put ta-your
heavens as iron, and ta-your earth as copper: 20
And and shall be spent your strength for vanity: and shall not
give your land
ta-her produce, and the trees of
the land shall not give their fruits.
The number seven represents completion. In hwhy's case, this is
His completion against the Israelites for not repenting of their
wrongdoing. It is almost as if hwhy was saying to
them I will take it to the next seven level and make matters worse for
you.
In other words, this is next level to the Israelites, when in the
previous level of chastisements they were able to work and produce the
food in vain, because it was given to the enemy. Now they would labor
in vain and would not produce anything at all. When it says that the
heavens would be as iron and the earth would be as copper, because it
would not provide the means to benefit the crops and the trees to
produce the food.
This would also be spritually for believers as not producing any
spiritual fruits, or would stop growing in their walk with hwhy.
Verses twenty-one and twenty two
21 And if you walk contrary
with Me, and you are not willing to
hearken to Me; And I
will add upon you a striking seven times
according to your sins. 22
I will send against you ta-beasts of the field, and make
childless you,
and I will cut off ta-your animals, and make few of
you; and devastate
your roadways.
BEASTS OF THE FIELD: Beastly
nature of mankind in the world/Muslims
The next level of seven times of hwhy's completion is
to bring the wild beasts, like bears and cougars, etc into the land.
An example of wild beasts from the result of the nation's disobedience
is in
1st Kings where the man of The Elohim from Judah, who confronted King
Jeroboam, disobeyed hwhy's word and eats
with a prophet in the northern kingdom of Israel when he was not to do
that. This is a result of the man's disobedience
1 Kings 13:20 And it came
to pass, as they sat at the table, that the word of hwhy came unto the prophet that
brought him back: 21 And he cried unto the man of The Elohim that
came
from Judah, saying, Thus saith hwhy, Forasmuch as thou hast
disobeyed the mouth of hwhy, and hast not kept the
commandment which hwhy thy Elohim commanded thee,
22 But camest back, and hast eaten bread and drunk water in the place,
of the which hwhy did say to thee, Eat
no bread, and drink no water; thy carcase shall not come unto the
sepulchre of thy fathers. 23 And it came to pass, after he had eaten
bread, and after he had drunk, that he saddled for him the ass, to wit,
for the prophet whom he had brought back. 24 And when he was
gone, a lion met him by the way, and slew him: and his carcase was cast
in the way, and the ass stood by it, the lion also stood by the carcase.
This shows that
the wild animals were already dwelling in the northern kingdom of
Israel because of King Jeroboam's disobedience against hwhy. But because
the man of the Elohim disobeyed hwhy's word, he took
on the level of judgment the northern kingdom was at, with the wild
beasts, and hwhy made the lion
kill him.
Another example in our own backyards. In the United States, there
are more wild animals coming in to the suburbs, rural communities and
in the cities, they are slowly popping up everywhere. This is also
the result of the judgment of this nation for disobeying the will
of hwhy.
Also, there are another group of animals coming to this nation
Genesis 25:27 ...and Esau was a cunning
hunter, a man of the field;
In other words, Esau is a wild man in the field, and the descendants of
Esau today are the Islamic peoples, who are symbolically "wild beasts".
They are already occupying the western European nations, and Western
Hemisphere, including the United States, and they are growing and
populating more in these nations. According to a documentary video
played Jim Staley of Passion
For Truth Ministries, the fertility rate for each Muslim family
is as much as eight children compared to Europe and the United States'
fertility rate of less than 2.11 children, the minimum rate to maintain
proper population growth.
You
can find the information on Jim Staley's teaching "End of The Age:
Jacov vs Esau" on the You Tube website. It includes a seven minute
video about the Muslim's fertility rate overwhelming Europe and the
Northern Hemisphere's fertility rate. This is the link
(Note: The segment of the video begins in the fourteenth minute of the
teaching).
In a spiritual sense, a believer would be brought into an environment
where there would be people of beastly nature around the believer's
vicinity, to wake up the believer.
LIVESTOCK AND CHILDREN: The
fruits of their labor and the people who followed him
In this example, the livestock is the crusade and the children are the
followers of them. One of these examples was Jimmy Swaggart's crusade.
After his admittance in public, it destroyed his crusade career, and
the majority of his followers. It also devestated and effected most of
the other crusades, examples are James Robison and Kenneth Copland. The
Television industries also backed off from televising most of the
crusades except for Billy Graham's. It devastated the crusade movement.
DEVASTATE THE ROADWAYS:
Believer's walk with hwhy shut down.
One example is in the book of Job, when hwhy smote him with
all kinds of devastations and plagues. This was what Job said regarding
his walk with hwhy Job 19:8 He
hath fenced up my way that I cannot pass, and he hath set darkness in
my paths
If a believer has a struggle with their path with hwhy, He is trying
to get the believer's attention that something about the believer's
relationship with hwhy is not right,
and needs to seek Him and repent.
This is hwhy's way for the
Israelites in their walk to repentance written in the book of Jeremiah
Jeremiah 31:21 Set thee up
waymarks, make thee high heaps: set thine heart toward the highway,
even the way which thou wentest: turn again, O virgin of Israel, turn
again to these thy cities.
hwhy gives us a
way to return back to the land by the waymarks of His Word and our
relationship with Him through Yeshua our Messiah.
Verses twenty three through twenty
five
23 And if by these you are
not chastised to Me, and you will walk
contrary with Me; 24 And I will walk, also I, contrary to you, and will
strike you, also I, seven times
upon your sins.
25 And I will bring upon you a sword, avenging The Vengeance Covenant:
and you will be gathered to your cities, and I
will send pestilence in your midst; and you will be given in the
hand of the enemy.
A SWORD AVENGING THE VENGEANCE
COVENANT: The enemies getting back against the believers
This is hwhy's counter
action against His people. Instead of being the Avenger for His people,
He has a Vengeance Covenant against the people.
Look what is happening now in a good portion of the Black community
today in the United States. Not including everyone, who are decent
people, a portion of the black community are getting back and
avenging themselves against the police, who are mostly white- who are
mostly the
descendant of the lost ten northern tribes of Israel- mainly in the
former
southern Confederate states, for the years of depression, the
enslavement of their
ancestors by the plantation owners, whom a portion of them were
believers. Though some of the black community are descendants of
the white plantation owners, like Derek Jeter of the New York Yankees,
they
mainly identify themselves as black, because they lack knowledge of
their ancestry. Also, the latest influx of illegal aliens from Mexico
are coming in droves across the border, and recently have become the
majority population in Tucson and Phoenix Arizona. According to
Wikipedia's topic "Historical racial and ethnic demographics of the
United States", the Mexican population have today become the
majority-minority population in the United States.
Another perspective is that the Muslim peoples are currently using
swords to decapitate people who
are not for the Muslim religion. If we, as nations dedicated to hwhy, do not repent
of our sins, iniquities and transgressions, and ask hwhy to avenge us, hwhy is going to
allow the Muslims to follow through with these acts against the
nations and the United States, and they will not be immune to this.
All of these are also based on the spirit of an unrighteous leader
affecting the spirit of the nation. An example of this was King
Solomon's son, King Rehoboam, who was an evil king and changed the
spirit of the Israelite nation.
1 Kings 14:21 And
Rehoboam the son of Solomon reigned in Judah. Rehoboam was forty and
one years old when he began to reign, and he reigned seventeen years in
Jerusalem, the city which hwhy did choose out of all the
tribes of Israel, to put his name there. And his mother's name was
Naamah an Ammonitess. 22 And Judah did evil in the sight of hwhy, and they provoked him to
jealousy with their sins which they had committed, above all that their
fathers had done. 23 For they also built them high places, and images,
and groves, on every high hill, and under every green tree. 24 And
there were also sodomites in the land: and they did according to all
the abominations of the nations which hwhy cast out before the children
of Israel.
Though it says nothing about foreigners, it does reveal that the spirit
of an unrighteous leader has an effect of the nation.
GATHERED TO THE CITIES: false
physical fortification and protection
Because of the Israelites continuous disobedience, the next main thing
they did was go to the fortified walls of the cities, thinking they
would be protected there, but hwhy will not
protect them in the
fortified cities. There are a few examples. The infamous example
occurred around 70 AD when the Jewish people went into the
fortifications in Jerusalem, thinking they would be protected from the
Roman soldiers.
Believers who still do not return to the obedience of hwhy think that we
could be protected within a four walled home as fortification and
protection from the world, but it is like the Israelites, as Bill Cloud
of Shoreshim Ministries said in a Torah portion, that they could leave
from Egypt, but Egypt still lives in them. It is somewhat relevant to
this part of the commentary, because it shows that the Israelites
physical bodies are not immune physical fortifications to the issues of
the world and their lives.
In the Gospels, Yeshua made note of a unclean spirits in a man
Matthew 12:41 The men of
Nineveh shall rise in judgment with this generation, and shall condemn
it: because they repented at the preaching of Jonas; and, behold, a
greater than Jonas is here. 42 The queen of the south shall rise up in
the judgment with this generation, and shall condemn it: for she came
from the uttermost parts of the earth to hear the wisdom of Solomon;
and, behold, a greater than Solomon is here. 43 When the unclean
spirit is gone out of a man, he walketh through dry places, seeking
rest, and findeth none. 44 Then he saith, I will return into my house
from whence I came out; and when he is come, he findeth it empty,
swept, and garnished. 45 Then goeth he, and taketh with himself
seven other spirits more wicked than himself, and they enter in and
dwell there: and the last state of that man is worse than the first.
Even so shall it be also unto this wicked generation.
Don't think
those unclean spirits will stay away from the man, they will find
reinforcements to attack again and try to regain the man. So does
HaSatan against us as believers and the Jewish people who still hold
the covenant.
SENDING PESTILENCE IN THE MIDST:
fiery darts of the enemy
This is an act of hwhy taking away His
shield of protection. This is based on the reading of the Apostle Paul
in the book of Ephesians
Ephesians 6:16 Above
all, taking the shield of faith, wherewith ye shall be able to quench
all the fiery darts of the wicked.
Today, in the United States, believers are receiving fiery darts of the
enemy. One example is a gay couple wanting a wedding cake at a certain
bakery shop, but the owner refused because of his religious beliefs.
The gay couple sued the owner and won their case in court. The owner
had to compensate the gay couple and pay fees.
GIVEN TO THE HAND OF THE ENEMY:
given over to HaSatan
One famous incident that one was given over to HaSatan was Judas
John 13:18 I speak not
of you all: I know whom I have chosen: but that the scripture may be
fulfilled, He that eateth bread with me hath lifted up his heel against
me. 19 Now I tell you before it come, that, when it is come to pass, ye
may believe that I am he. 20 Verily, verily, I say unto you, He
that receiveth whomsoever I send receiveth me; and he that receiveth me
receiveth him that sent me. 21 When Yeshua had thus said, he was
troubled in spirit, and testified, and said, Verily, verily, I say unto
you, that one of you shall betray me. 22 Then the disciples looked
one on another, doubting of whom he spake. 23 Now there was leaning on
Yeshua's bosom one of his disciples, whom Yeshua loved. 24 Simon Peter
therefore beckoned to him, that he should ask who it should be of whom
he spake. 25 He then lying on Yeshua's breast saith unto him, Lord, who
is it? 26 Yeshua answered, He it is, to whom I shall give a sop, when I
have dipped it. And when he had dipped the sop, he gave it to Judas
Iscariot, the son of Simon. 27 And after the
sop Satan entered into him. Then said Yeshua unto him, That thou
doest, do quickly.
Judas ultimately rejected Yeshua's ministry to him, but Judas was used
so that the scripture would be fulfilled
Another matter where HaSatan entered to a man of hwhy was in the book
of Acts
Acts 5:1 But a certain man
named Ananias, with Sapphira his wife, sold a possession, 2 And kept
back part of the price, his wife also being privy to it, and brought a
certain part, and laid it at the apostles' feet. 3 But Peter said,
Ananias, why hath Satan filled thine heart to lie to the Ruakh
HaKodesh, and to keep back part of the price of the land? 4
Whiles it remained, was it not thine own? and after it was sold, was it
not in thine own power? why hast thou conceived this thing in thine
heart? thou hast not lied unto men, but unto hwhy. 5 And Ananias hearing
these words fell down, and gave up the ghost: and great fear came on
all them that heard these things. 6 And the young men arose, wound him
up, and carried him out, and buried him. 7 And it was about the space
of three hours after, when his wife, not knowing what was done, came
in. 8 And Peter answered unto her, Tell me whether ye sold the
land for so much? And she said, Yea, for so much. 9 Then Peter said
unto her, How is it that ye have agreed together to tempt the Spirit
of hwhy? behold, the feet of them
which have buried thy husband are at the door, and shall carry thee
out. 10 Then fell she down straightway at his feet, and yielded up
the ghost: and the young men came in, and found her dead, and, carrying
her forth, buried her by her husband. 11 And great fear came upon all
the congregation, and upon as many as heard these things.
Though the wife
was not filled her heart, she submitted to HaSatan in her husband's
heart and it was equivalent as HaSatan entered into her heart. They
paid the price with their lives.
Another way of HaSatan entering to a person is to be delivered unto
HaSatan by someone else who has the right to do so, which in this case
was the Apostle Paul in the book of Timothy
1 Timothy 1:18 This
charge I commit unto thee, son Timothy, according to the prophecies
which went before on thee, that thou by them mightest war a good
warfare; 19 Holding faith, and a good conscience; which some
having put away concerning faith have made shipwreck: 20 Of whom is
Hymenaeus and Alexander; whom I have delivered unto Satan, that they
may learn not to blaspheme.
I pray that none of us have to go through this experience.
Verse twenty six
26 In My breaking of The
Staff of Bread,
and ten women shall bake for your bread in one fire pot, and they shall
return
your bread by weight: and you shall eat, and you shall not be satisfied.
BREAKING THE STAFF OF BREAD:
breaking His Word with the people
The Staff of Bread is a reference
to hwhy's Word. In other
words, hwhy will remove His
word from within the people. This would be the stage of divorcing
Himself from His people as He did in the ten northern tribes
Jeremiah 3:8a And I saw, when
for all the causes whereby backsliding Israel committed adultery I had
put her away, and given her a bill of divorce;
TEN
WOMEN MAKING ONE BREAD: many
people getting little results
We can see today how much the price of food and materials are rising.
In times past, there used to be one spouse to take care of the monetary
means. Today, both spouses are providing the income, but in most cases
it still does not meet their monetary needs.
A MAN EATS ITS WEIGHT AND
IS NOT
SATISFIED: the bread of the the world doesn't satisfy the soul
This is what the prophet Ezekiel said during the end of days
Ezekiel 7:19 They shall
cast their silver in the streets, and their gold shall be removed:
their silver and their gold shall not be able to deliver them in the
day of the wrath of hwhy: they shall not satisfy
their souls, neither fill their bowels: because it is the
stumblingblock of their iniquity.
In this part of
the case, they tried to use gold and silver to give them satisfaction
in their soul and their bowels as if it was an act of food for them,
but it will satisfy them.
In the spiritual sense, the bread is bread of the words of the world.
It might give temporary satisfaction, but it is not eternal. They will
keep finding things, false religions to find satisfaction for their
souls, but it still will not fulfill their souls' needs.
The only person that can satisfy the soul is The Bread of Life, and He
is Yeshua the Messiah.
This is a physical example of Yeshua's acts satisfying the souls of men
Mark 8:1 In those days the
multitude being very great, and having nothing to eat, Jesus called his
disciples unto him, and saith unto them, 2 I have compassion on the
multitude, because they have now been with me three days, and have
nothing to eat: 3 And if I send them away fasting to their own
houses, they will faint by the way: for divers of them came from far. 4
And his disciples answered him, From whence can a man satisfy these men
with bread here in the wilderness? 5 And he asked them, How many loaves
have ye? And they said, Seven. 6 And he commanded the people to sit
down on the ground: and he took the seven loaves, and gave thanks, and
brake, and gave to his disciples to set before them; and they did set
them before the people. 7 And they had a few small fishes: and he
blessed, and commanded to set them also before them. 8 So they did eat,
and were filled: and they took up of the broken meat that was left
seven baskets. 9 And they that had eaten were about four thousand:
and he sent them away.
Yeshua
mutliplied the bread to satisfy the needs of the people that were
present with Him and His disciples.
Yeshua, during His forty day trial in the wilderness, was tempted by
HaSatan to turn stones into bread
Matthew 4:1 Then was Yeshua
led up of the Spirit into the wilderness to be tempted of the devil. 2
And when He had fasted forty days and forty nights, He was afterward an
hungred. 3 And when the tempter came to Him, he said, If thou be
the Son of Elohim, command that these stones be made bread. 4 But
He answered and said, It is written, Man shall not live by bread alone,
but by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of hwhy.
Yeshua said this
to show how important it is to obey and keep The Word.
Verses twenty seven through thirty
one
27 And if by this you
will not hearken to Me, and you will
walk contrary with Me; 28 And I will walk with you in Fury
Contrary;
and I will chastise you, also I, seven times upon your sins. 29 And you
shall eat the flesh of your sons, and the flesh of your daughters you
shall eat. 30 And I will destroy ta-your high places, and I will
cut down
your sun pillars, and I will put ta-your carcases upon the
carcases of
your idols, and my
soul shall abhor you. 31 And I will give ta-your cities for desolation,
and I will make waste
ta-your sanctuaries, and I will
not smell your soothing fragrances. WALKING IN FURY CONTRARY:
seeing hwhy for the last time.
EATING THE FLESH OF SONS AND
DAUGHTERS: Destroying what one has accomplished and destroying the
spiritual gifts for the next generation
DESTROYING HIGH PLACES/SUN
PILLARS: destroying their accomplishments of the world and destroying
their idols in their lives
CARCASSES UPON THE CARCASSES OF
THEIR IDOLS: dying to their idols they made in the world.
One good example is the Titanic. The ship the captain said that 'God
could not sink', did sink, and the captain that quoted it went down
with ship and died with it.
CITIES DESOLATED AND SANCTUARY
WASTED: Ministries destroyed
One famous example in the United States was Carl Steven's ministry
called "The Bible Speaks". His ministry aquired estates in Lennox,
Massachusetts and it became the headquarters for his ministry and a
college where people gave their money to move with him to Lennox and
live there. Later in the ministry there were money scandals occurring
in the ministry, almost all of it from Carl Stevens. There were
investigations against the ministry, and later a major donator to the
ministry sued them, and it resulted in the ministry to close its doors
and move to a smaller branch location in Baltimore, Maryland.
In verse thirty, the
Hebrew word for sun pillars is "khaman"- Khet, Mem, Nun
Sophit (Nmx). It is from
Strong's concordance number 2553 meaning
From
H2535; a sun pillar: - idol, image.
from 2535 "khamah" (hmx) meaning
From
H2525; heat; by implication the sun: - heat, sun.
from 2525 "kham" (mx) meaning
From
H2552; hot: - hot, warm.
from 2552 "khamam" (Mmx) meaning
A
primitive root; to be hot (literally or figuratively): - enflame self,
get (have) heat, be (wax) hot, (be, wax) warm (self, at).
Verses thirty six through thirty

36 And the ones remaining
among
you I will bring Faintness in their hearts in the
lands of their enemies; and chase them a sound of a shaken leaf; and
they shall flee, as one retreating a sword; and they shall fall and
none pursues.
Faintness In Their Hearts In The
Land Of Their Enemies: having no righteous strength in the world
A Shaken Leaf Shall Chase Them
And No One Is Following Them:
No Power To Stand To The Face Of
Your Enemies: no spiritual backbone:
Perish Among The Nations/The
Land Of The Enemies Consume You: one becoming part of the world and
spiritual death
And They Will Stumble, A Man On
His Brother, As With The Face Of A Sword: blind leading the blind/The
world blinding people
As Yeshua made note of the Pharisees' blindness
Matthew 15:1 Then came to
Yeshua scribes and Pharisees, which were of Jerusalem, saying, 2 Why do
thy disciples transgress the tradition of the elders? for they wash not
their hands when they eat bread. 3 But he answered and said unto
them, Why do ye also transgress the commandment of hwhy by your tradition? 4 For God
commanded, saying, Honour thy father and mother: and, He that curseth
father or mother, let him die the death. 5 But ye say, Whosoever shall
say to his father or his mother, It is a gift, by whatsoever thou
mightest be profited by me; 6 And honour not his father or his mother,
he shall be free. Thus have ye made the commandment of hwhy of none effect by your
tradition. 7 Ye hypocrites, well did Esaias prophesy of you, saying, 8
This people draweth nigh unto me with their mouth, and honoureth me
with their lips; but their heart is far from me. 9 But in vain they do
worship me, teaching for doctrines the commandments of men. 10 And he
called the multitude, and said unto them, Hear, and understand: 11 Not
that which goeth into the mouth defileth a man; but that which cometh
out of the mouth, this defileth a man. 12 Then came his disciples, and
said unto him, Knowest thou that the Pharisees were offended, after
they heard this saying? 13 But he answered and said, Every plant, which
my heavenly Father hath not planted, shall be rooted up. 14 Let them alone:
they be blind leaders of the blind. And if the blind lead the blind,
both shall fall into the ditch.
Matthew 23:16 Woe unto
you, ye
blind guides, which say, Whosoever shall swear by the temple, it
is nothing; but whosoever shall swear by the gold of the temple, he is
a debtor! 17 Ye fools and
blind: for whether is greater, the gold, or the temple that
sanctifieth the gold? 18 And, Whosoever shall swear by the altar, it is
nothing; but whosoever sweareth by the gift that is upon it, he is
guilty. 19 Ye fools and
blind: for whether is greater, the gift, or the altar that
sanctifieth the gift?...24 Ye blind guides,
which strain at a gnat, and swallow a camel....26 Thou blind
Pharisee, cleanse first that which is within the cup and
platter, that the outside of them may be clean also.
Also one will go into the world's lifestyles and be spiritual blinded
by them and fail to see hwhy's will for
their lives.
Pining Away In Their Iniquity In
The Land Of One's Enemies: Delving into the world's lifestyles
Verses thirty two through thirty
five
32 And
I will make waste, I, ta-the land: and
shall be astonished upon her your enemies, the ones dwelling in her. 33
And you I
will scatter among the nations, and I will draw out a sword after
you: and she, your land, shall be a waste, and your cities shall be a
This would be fulfilled in the Babylonian invasion of Judah and in
Jerusalem as spoken by the Prophet Jeremiah
Jeremiah 25:8 Therefore thus
saith hwhy of hosts; Because ye have
not heard my words, 9 Behold, I will send and take all the
families of the north, saith hwhy, and Nebuchadrezzar the king
of Babylon, my servant, and will bring them against this land, and
against the inhabitants thereof, and against all these nations round
about, and will utterly destroy them, and make them an astonishment,
and an hissing, and perpetual desolations. 10 Moreover I will take from
them the voice of mirth, and the voice of gladness, the voice of the
bridegroom, and the voice of the bride, the sound of the millstones,
and the light of the candle. 11 And this whole land shall be a
desolation, and an astonishment; and these nations shall serve the king
of Babylon seventy years.
Because they did
not allow the land to rest in the seventh year for 490 years, they will
be kicked out the land so that the land can have her rest for the
seventy year period.
SCATTERED AMONG THE NATIONS:
kicked out the kingdom of heaven
Yeshua made note to that in the Gospels
The account that mentions the unfaithful children of the kingdom
Matthew 8:5 And when Yeshua
was entered into Capernaum, there came unto him a centurion, beseeching
him, 6 And saying, Lord, my servant lieth at home sick of the
palsy, grievously tormented. 7 And Yeshua saith unto him, I will come
and heal him. 8 The centurion answered and said, Lord, I am not worthy
that thou shouldest come under my roof: but speak the word only, and my
servant shall be healed. 9 For I am a man under authority, having
soldiers under me: and I say to this man, Go, and he goeth; and to
another, Come, and he cometh; and to my servant, Do this, and he doeth
it. 10 When Yeshua heard it, he marvelled, and said to them that
followed, Verily I say unto you, I have not found so great faith, no,
not in Israel. 11 And I say unto
you, That many shall come from the east and west, and shall sit down
with Abraham, and Isaac, and Jacob, in the kingdom of heaven. 12
But the
children of the kingdom shall be cast out into outer darkness:
there shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth.
The parable
regarding the improperly dressed man Matthew 22:1 And Yeshua
answered and spake unto them again by parables, and said, 2 The
kingdom of heaven is like unto a certain king, which made a marriage
for his son, 3 And sent forth his servants to call them that were
bidden to the wedding: and they would not come. 4 Again, he sent
forth other servants, saying, Tell them which are bidden, Behold, I
have prepared my dinner: my oxen and my fatlings are killed, and all
things are ready: come unto the marriage. 5 But they made light of it,
and went their ways, one to his farm, another to his merchandise: 6 And
the remnant took his servants, and entreated them spitefully, and slew
them. 7 But when the king heard thereof, he was wroth: and he sent
forth his armies, and destroyed those murderers, and burned up their
city. 8 Then saith he to his servants, The wedding is ready, but they
which were bidden were not worthy. 9 Go ye therefore into the
highways, and as many as ye shall find, bid to the marriage. 10 So
those servants went out into the highways, and gathered together all as
many as they found, both bad and good: and the wedding was furnished
with guests. 11 And when the
king came in to see the guests, he saw there a man which had not on a
wedding garment: 12 And he saith
unto him, Friend, how camest thou in hither not having a wedding
garment? And he was speechless. 13 Then said the
king to the servants, Bind him hand and foot, and take him away, and
cast him into outer darkness; there shall be weeping and
gnashing of teeth. 14 For many are called, but few are chosen.
The parable of
the unfaithful servant
Matthew 24:45 Who then is
a faithful and wise servant, whom his lord hath made ruler over his
household, to give them meat in due season? 46 Blessed is that
servant, whom his lord when he cometh shall find so doing. 47 Verily I
say unto you, That he shall make him ruler over all his goods. 48 But
and if that evil servant shall say in his heart, My lord delayeth his
coming; 49 And shall begin to smite his fellowservants, and to eat and
drink with the drunken; 50 The lord of that servant shall come in a day
when he looketh not for him, and in an hour that he is not aware of, 51
And shall cut him asunder, and appoint him his portion with the
hypocrites: there shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth.
The parable of
the lazy servant with the one talent
Matthew 25:24 Then he which
had received the one talent came and said, Lord, I knew thee that thou
art an hard man, reaping where thou hast not sown, and gathering where
thou hast not strawed: 25 And I was afraid, and went and hid thy
talent in the earth: lo, there thou hast that is thine. 26 His lord
answered and said unto him, Thou wicked and slothful servant, thou
knewest that I reap where I sowed not, and gather where I have not
strawed: 27 Thou oughtest therefore to have put my money to the
exchangers, and then at my coming I should have received mine own with
usury. 28 Take therefore the talent from him, and give it unto him
which hath ten talents. 29 For unto every one that hath shall be given,
and he shall have abundance: but from him that hath not shall be taken
away even that which he hath. 30 And cast ye the
unprofitable servant into outer darkness: there shall be weeping
and gnashing of teeth.
These parables
and accounts are symbolic to the unfaithful and unrighteous servants
and people who reject the will of hwhy and do not obey
His will that they will be cast out of the kingdom of heaven in the
symbols of the house or the house of the marriage supper or are already
of the kingdom of heaven. It means nobody is immune to being kicked
out. The Apostle Paul made notion of this matter in the book of Romans
Romans 11:12 Now if the
fall of them be the riches of the world, and the diminishing of them
the riches of the Gentiles; how much more their fulness? 13 For I speak
to you Gentiles, inasmuch as I am the apostle of the Gentiles, I
magnify mine office: 14 If by any means I may provoke to emulation them
which are my flesh, and might save some of them. 15 For if the casting
away of them be the reconciling of the world, what shall the receiving
of them be, but life from the dead? 16 For if the firstfruit be holy,
the lump is also holy: and if the root be holy, so are the branches. 17
And if some of the branches be broken off, and thou, being a wild olive
tree, wert graffed in among them, and with them partakest of the root
and fatness of the olive tree; 18 Boast not against the branches. But
if thou boast, thou bearest not the root, but the root thee. 19 Thou
wilt say then, The branches were broken off, that I might be graffed
in. 20 Well; because of unbelief they were broken off, and thou
standest by faith. Be not highminded, but fear: 21 For if hwhy spared not the natural
branches, take heed lest he also spare not thee. 22 Behold therefore
the goodness and severity of hwhy: on them which fell,
severity; but toward thee, goodness, if thou continue in his goodness:
otherwise thou also shalt be cut off. 23 And they also, if they abide
not still in unbelief, shall be graffed in: for hwhy is able to graff them in
again. 24 For if thou wert cut out of the olive tree which is wild by
nature, and wert graffed contrary to nature into a good olive tree: how
much more shall these, which be the natural branches, be graffed into
their own olive tree? 25 For I would not, brethren, that ye should be
ignorant of this mystery, lest ye should be wise in your own conceits;
that blindness in part is happened to Israel, until the fulness of the
Gentiles be come in. 26 And so all Israel shall be saved: as it is
written, There shall come out of Sion the Deliverer, and shall turn
away ungodliness from Jacob: 27 For this is my covenant unto them,
when I shall take away their sins.
Verses forty through forty five
40 And
they shall confess ta-their iniquity, and ta-the iniquity of their
fathers,
among their transgressions which they transgressed against me, and also
that
they have walked contrary with me; 41 Also I, I will walk
contrary with them, and I will bring them into the land of their
enemies; if then shall humble their uncircumcised hearts, and then
shall they accept ta-their iniquity: 42 And I will
remember ta-My
covenant with Jacob, and also ta-My covenant with Isaac, and
also ta-My
covenant with Abraham I will remember; and the land I will remember.
This is reinforced by what hwhy said to King
Solomon in the book of Chronicles
2 Chronicles 7:14 If My
people, which are called by My Name, shall humble themselves, and pray,
and seek My face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear
from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.
Mark Biltz of El Shaddai Ministries stated that the Apostle John made
note of this Tanakh's source in one of his letters
1 John 1:9 If we confess our
sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us
from all unrighteousness.
King David went through a good part of these judgments during his life
Psalms 38:1 A Psalm of
David, to bring to remembrance. hwhy, rebuke me not in thy wrath:
neither chasten me in thy hot displeasure. 2 For thine arrows stick
fast in me, and thy hand presseth
me sore. 3 There is no soundness in my flesh because of thine
anger; neither is there any rest in my bones because of my sin. 4 For
mine iniquities are gone over mine head: as an heavy
burden they are too heavy for me. 5 My wounds stink and are
corrupt because of my
foolishness. 6 I am troubled; I am bowed down greatly; I go mourning
all the day long. 7 For my loins are filled with a loathsome disease:
and
there is no soundness in my flesh. 8 I am feeble and sore broken: I
have roared by reason of
the disquietness of my heart. 9 Adonai, all my desire is before thee;
and my groaning is
not hid from thee. 10 My heart panteth, my strength faileth me: as for
the
light of mine eyes, it also is gone from me. 11 My lovers and my
friends stand aloof from my sore; and
my kinsmen stand afar off. 12 They also that seek after my life
lay snares for me:
and they that seek my hurt speak mischievous things, and imagine
deceits all the day long. 13 But I, as a deaf man, heard not; and
I was as a dumb
man that openeth not his mouth. 14 Thus I was as a man that heareth
not, and in whose
mouth are no reproofs. 15 For in thee, hwhy, do I hope: thou wilt hear,
Adonai
my Elohim. 16 For I said, Hear me, lest otherwise they should rejoice
over me: when my foot slippeth, they magnify themselves against me. 17
For I am ready to halt, and my sorrow is continually
before me. 18 For I will declare mine iniquity; I will be sorry for
my sin. 19 But mine enemies are lively, and they are strong: and
they that hate me wrongfully are multiplied. 20 They also that render
evil for good are mine
adversaries; because I follow the thing that good is. 21 Forsake me
not, hwhy: O my Elohim, be not far
from me. 22 Make haste to help me, Adonai my salvation.
You can see all the judgments that King David experienced are mentioned
in this chapter.
CHAPTER 27
Leviticus 27:1-34
Lev 27:1 And hwhy
spoke to Moses, to say, 2 Speak to the sons of Israel, and
you shall say to them, A man: if shall make difficult vow, by your
evaluation, the souls shall be to hwhy. 3 And your
evaluation shall be of the male from a son of twenty
years and unto a son of sixty years, and shall be your evaluation fifty
shekels of silver, by the shekel of the sanctuary. 4 And if she is a
female, and shall be your evaluation
thirty shekels. 5 And if from a son of five years and unto a son of
twenty years, and shall be your evaluation of the male twenty shekels,
and for
the female ten shekels. 6 And if from a son of a month and unto a son
of five years, and shall be your evaluation of the male five shekels of
silver, and
for the female of your evaluation three shekels of silver. 7 And if
from a son of sixty years and upward; if a
male, and shall be your evaluation fifteen shekels, and for the female
ten shekels. 8 And if he is poor from your evaluation, and he shall
stand to the face of the priest, and the priest shall evaluate him;
upon the mouth which she, the hand, is able the one vowing shall the
priest evaluate him.
9 And if of an animal, which they bring from her a Karban
Offering to hwhy, all that that gives
from him to hwhy shall be holy. 10
Shall not replace him, and shall not change him, a good by a bad, or a
bad by a good: and if changing, shall change an animal by an animal,
and shall be he and his alternate shall be holy. 11 And if any unclean
animal, of which they do not bring a Karban Offering to hwhy, and shall stand ta-the animal to the face
of
the priest: 12 And the priest shall evaluate her between good and
between
bad: as the priest evaluates you, so shall be. 13 And if redeeming,
shall redeem, and shall add his
fifth unto your evaluation. 14 And a man: if shall sanctify ta-his house
holy to hwhy, and the priest shall
evaluate him, between good and between bad:
as which the priest shall evaluate him, so shall stand. 15 And if the
one with sanctifying shall redeem ta-his house, and shall
add a fifth of silver of your evaluation unto him, and shall be to
him. 16 And if from a field of his property a man shall
sanctify to hwhy, and shall be your
estimation by the mouth of his seed: a khomer of barley seed by
the fifty
shekels of silver.
17 If from the year of The Jubilee,
shall sanctify his field, according to your evaluation shall stand. 18
And if after The Jubilee shall sanctify his field, and the
priest shall compute to him ta-the silver upon the
mouth of the remainder of the years, unto the year of The Jubilee, and
be deducted from your evaluation. 19 And if redeeming, shall redeem ta-the field the one
sanctifying him, and shall add a fifth of silver of your evaluation
unto him, and rises to him. 20 And if shall not redeem ta-the field, and if has
sold ta-the field to another
man, shall not be redeemed again. 21 And shall be the field, in his
going out in The Jubilee, shall
be holy to hwhy, as a field devoted;
she shall be to the priest of his possession. 22 And if ta-a field from his
purchase which is not from the field of his possession shall be
sanctified to hwhy; 23 And shall compute
to him the priest ta-the enumeration of ta-your evaluation, unto
the year of The Jubilee: and give ta-your evaluation in
that, the day, a holy thing to hwhy. 24 In the year of
The Jubilee shall return the field to whom bought him from him, of whom
to him is a possession of the
land. 25 And all your evaluation shall be by the
shekel of the sanctuary: twenty gerahs shall be the shekel. 26 Only the
firstling, which shall be a firstborn to hwhy among the animals,
shall not a man sanctify him; if an ox, if a sheep: he is to hwhy. 27 And if among the
unclean animals, and shalll be ransomed in your evaluation, and shall
add his fifth upon him: and if shall not be redeemed, and shall be sold
according to your evaluation. 28 But any devoted thing, which a man
shall
devote to hwhy from all which is to
him, from Adam and from animal, and from
the field of his possession, shall not be sold and shall not be
redeemed: every devoted
thing, he is holy of holies to hwhy. 29 Any devoted
thing, which shall be devoted from the Adam, shall not be ransomed;
dying, shall die.
30 And all the tithe of the land, from the seed of
the land, from the fruit of the tree, he is to hwhy: holy to hwhy. 31 And if redeeming,
shall redeem a man from his tithes, his fifth shall add upon him. 32
And all the tithe of the herd, and of the flock, all that go over under
the rod, the tenth shall be holy to hwhy. 33 shall not search
between good to the bad, and shall not change him: and if changing,
shall change him, he shall be, and his substitute shall be holy;
shall not be redeemed. 34 These are the commandments, which hwhy commanded
ta-Moses to the sons of
Israel in Mount Sinai.
In this chapter, hwhy made Moses for
some of the things in these
commandments. Everytime the word "you" or "your" is mentioned, it
refers to Moses.
As one can see the evaluation of a male is more than a female. hwhy
intended that way for a woman to give less, which is an act of mercy
for the woman. Look at today regarding women in the workforce. It does
not apply to everybody, but the woman of the world want to have equal
status and equal pay that a man has. The reason they are doing this,
because the world lies to them by saying that they can be independent
from men and don't need men and can be as equal as men. This seems to
be one of the issues regarding the last days of this earth before
Yeshua returns.
Also, the amount of silver shekels men and women sixty years and up pay
less than those twenty to sixty years. This is the oldest recording of
a Senior Citizen discount.
Also notice the amount of silver shekels required for the younger ones
between five and twenty years old, and cheaper between a month old and
five years old. This is the oldest account of rate based on ages. This
practice has been used, in example, for bus fares,
circuses, Disney World, and other activity places, where children of
certain ages get in cheaper than their older siblings and parents, and
some organizations have children ages five and under go in for free.
Regarding the evaluation of the houses and the fields, this is the
earliest account of estate appraisals.
Notice verse seventeen
16 And if from a field
of his property a man shall
sanctify to hwhy, and shall be your
estimation by the mouth of his seed: a khomer of barley seed by
the
fifty
shekels of silver.
This evaluation would have most likely occurred during the Spring
season, because it is the only time that barley would grow.
The Levites are in charge of the monetary rate and the monetary
evaluation. One of the famous Jewish family involved in banking are the
Vanderbilts. Also the chairman of the Federal Reserve have in recent
past and current been Jews. The current chair is Janet Yellen, who is
Jewish, and preceded her was Bob Bernanke, and before him was Alan
Greenspan, all Jewish. All of them held this office for the last twenty
eight years.
The United States the government used to set the gold and silver
standard (scale) for the dollar starting in 1792 under the "Mint and
Coinage Act". This lasted until 1914 when the Federal Reserve began
commission, took over the standard, and created the "Federal Reserve
Note"
which started the decline of the gold standard, and in 1933 "Executive
Order
6102" made it illegal for any U.S. citizen to sell or trade gold or
gold currency anywhere in the world. It was followed by the "Gold
Reserve Act" in 1934, which stated that all gold and gold notes that
were held by the Federal Reserve were to be held only by the U.S.
Department of the Treasury. The final nail in the coffin was in 1971
when President Nixon ended the exchange of currency into gold. It was a
complex history, but you can find this information on the Wikipedia web
page:
In verse three, the Hebrew word "shekel"- Shin, Kuph, Lamed (lqs). It is from Strong's concordance
number 8255
"From
H8254; probably a weight; used as a commercial standard: - shekel".
from 8254 "shakal"
"A
primitive root; to suspend or poise (especially in trade): - pay,
receive (-r), spend, X throughly, weigh".
This is where we get our modern English word "scale".
In verse eighteen, the Hebrew word for compute is "khashav"- Khet,
Shin, Bet (bsx). It is from Strong's concordance
number 2803
"A
primitive root; properly to plait or interpenetrate, that is,
(literally) to weave or (generally) to fabricate; figuratively to plot
or contrive (usually in a malicious sense); hence (from the mental
effort) to think, regard, value, compute: - (make) account (of),
conceive, consider, count, cunning (man, work, workman), devise,
esteem, find out, forecast, hold, imagine, impute, invent, be like,
mean, purpose, reckon (-ing be made), regard, think".
Without the Bet, this is where we get our modern English word "cash".
I give credit to Mark Biltz of El Shaddai Ministries for
revealing this, because it was the first time I heard about it. To end
this, if one has not noticed, this whole book of Leviticus had a time
span, from the beginning of chapter one to the end of chapter twenty
seven, of "one month", because the book of Edodus starts in chapter
forty
Exodus 40:17
And it came to pass in the first month in the second year, on the first
day of the month, that the tabernacle was reared up.
And the Numbers chapter one, verse one
Numbers 1:1 And hwhy
spake unto Moses in The Wilderness of Sinai, in the tabernacle of the
congregation, on the first day of the second month, in the second year
after they were come out of the land of Egypt...
Next week, we'll be reading the
book of Numbers which covers thirty eight years of their journey.
That ends the
commentary on
this week's Torah portion. This also ends the book of Leviticus
